The Wild & Wintery Wedding Day of Lyndsey & Peter at The Great Hall at Mains

This was such a glorious 'Great Hall at Mains' wedding and we had the best time planning all of the decorative details with the lovely Lyndsey. A winter wedding in Lancashire always promises to be a magnificent one, we are a robust bunch and the cold doesn't worry us, Lyndsey & Peter's wedding day included a glorious collection of warming decorations, fabulous folks, hearty food (Catering by The Villa Outside) and drink and great entertainment, their promise of a wild wintery and wonderful wedding dat surely delivered!!!xxx

We met up with Lyndsey to talk through her fabulous mood board, we made plans for her to come back in to see some sample designs about 5 weeks prior to the big day
I'd made a fabulously wild and wintery wedding bouquet, I gathered together a collection of fresh Helebores, Tulips, Eryngium Thistles, Berries, Roses, Senecio, Scabious Seed Heads, Viburnum Berries and Snowberries

We created a small version of our intended design for the top table

We'd dressed one of our candelabras in a 'Rustic Glam' style
The sample boutonniere featured a Mentha Rose with Berries and winter foliages
Suggestions for lower table designs again in a wild wintery style
Anemone Boutonniere suggestions

At long last the big day arrived and our Vicky headed up to The Manor House at The Great Hall at Mains to make the presentation of the Bridal Bouquets
Lyndsey and her Bridesmaids were busy getting ready when Vicky arrived, she introduced everyone to their exquisite flowers

Inside The Great Hall at Mains the scene was set for the ceremony with two of our magnificent Baroque Candelabras marking the start of the aisle

At the head of the aisle  more candelabras and two Registrars tables both dressed with fresh flowers

Rustic and recycled vessels were filled with wild style blooms set on logs and slices of bark

Vicky pinned on all of the Groom's Men's Boutonnieres ensuring each one was positioned perfectly

The Bridesmaids were wearing lovely navy blue gowns, we'd made them smaller versions of the Bridal Bouquet

Our beautiful Bride the lovely Lyndsey looked stunning...

Huge Congratulations to Lyndsey & Peter from all of the team here at Flower Design Events

whilst our Bride & Groom and their guests enjoyed celebratory drinks a transformation was taking place in The Great Hall at Mains

The Tables were dressed with a combination of table designs, our Baroque Candelabras looked magnificent, the soft candlelight created a warm and romantic atmosphere

The lower table designs looked wonderful fresh posies in bark covered vases set on wood slices surrounded by silver mercury tea light votives

The chair covers and ceiling drapes were provided by the great folks at Creative Cover Hire
Huge thanks to Lyndsey & Peter for choosing Flower Design Events to create their wedding flowers for them
