A Cacophony of Colour for Natalie & Nathan's Joyous Wedding Day at Ashton Memorial in Williamson Park & Barton Grange

This wedding day was all about the colour,  Natalie and Nathan wanted to see a rainbow of colours in their flowers, they'd chosen a great venue for their ceremony the wonderful Ashton Memorial in Williamson Park, Lancaster and then the celebrations were moving on to Barton Grange Hotel.
~
When we'd met up with them both to discuss their brief and subsequently design a set of sample bouquets, boutonnieres and table centres for them to see, their main concern was to do with the clarity and cleanness of the colours, their Bridesmaids were wearing ivory dresses but with primary coloured sashes and shoes, the Groom's Men too were wearing primary coloured ties and pocket squares, our task was to match these colours in a blocks throughout, only the Bridal Bouquets,  Groom's Boutonniere and Pedestals were to be predominantly white with mixed accesories, everything else was to be in solid colour blocks.
The sample Bouquets and sample boutonniere were to be primarily white with coloured accessories
The sample pedestal design in mixed colours
At last the wedding day arrived and Vicky and Shirl headed off to present the Bridal bouquets
They unwrapped their bouquet box revealing a vibrant collection of fresh flowers

Vicky showed the lovely Natalie how to carry her bouquet perfectly
They pinned on Dad's Boutonniere, a purple one to go with his purple tie and pocket square
The gorgeous Bridesmaids looked great with their bouquets

Our intrepid duo headed off to Ashton Memorial to set up for the ceremony

Inside this remarkable space the scene was set for the ceremony with two of our magnificent pedestals framing the Registrars table perfectly
A series of glass vases with posies of self coloured primary toned blooms in each one were lined up along the front of the Registrars table
The pedestals included spectacular plumes of white Phalaenopsis Orchids amonst Sunflowers, Hydrangeas, Roses and Veronicas

The boutonnieres and corsages were also self coloured to match the Groom's Men's ties

The Bride Groom's Orchid Boutonniere created to match his Bride's bouquet
Nathan complete with his unique style boutonniere
The boutonnieres looked great in their vibrant colour way and really stood out against their grey suits

A Yellow Rose, Craspedia and Oncidium Orchid Boutonniere
The Groom's Mum was wearing an ivory wrist corsage

An orange Rose and Ranunculus Boutonniere
The Bridesmaids were next to arrive their bouquets matched their colourful sashes perfectly

The Bride's Mum was wearing cerise pink and violet we'd made her a wrist corsage of Rose buds and Lissianthus to match

Natalie looked beautiful when she arrived

Huge Congratulations to Nadine & Nathan from all of the team here at Flower Design Events

The celebrations moved on to Barton Grange where each table was dressed in a different colour
A Hand Tied posy of fresh flowers dressed the centre of each table
On the red table a posy of red Gerberas, Roses, Berries and Classic Hydrangeas took centre stage.
On the Blue table Blue Hydrangeas, Blue Bees Delphiniums, Eryngium Thistle and Anemones graced the table centre
For the green table a vibrant posy of Green Tea Roses, Shamrock Chrysanth Blooms, Bells of Ireland & Eucalyptus looked magnificent
Yellow Roses, Bumble Bee Orchids, Craspedia, Celosia and Gerberas worked their golden magic on the yellow table
The purple table's posy included deep purple Vanda Orchids, Purple Brassica, Stocks, Veronica, Freesia, Lissianthus and Roses
Vicky had made a garland of rainbow flowers to flow down the front of the six tier cake, it looked quite magnificent
The top table was a large oval and had the two pedestals on either end and posies of fresh flowers in the centre set on mirrors with candles in-between

We'd left the centre vase empty so that the bridal bouquet could take pride of place

Even the lights at Barton Grange were coloured to match the wedding

The Bridesmaids were still holding on to their wedding bouquets in the bar which is always a good sign, I love it when they love their bouquets too much to part with them

Our work here was done, huge thanks to Natalie & Nathan for choosing Flower Design Events to create their wedding flowers for them xxx
