What I Got For Christmas 2015 (Beauty, Fashion + More!)

For Christmas this year, I was very lucky to receive some beautiful gifts from my friends, family and boyfriend; I'm always grateful for everything I am gifted and would like to let you all know that this post is in no way bragging. Annually, I've come to notice that my Birthday and Christmas present posts are ones that many enjoy and like to read so based on those statistics, I'm hoping you would like to see some of the presents I got for Xmas 2015.

OMG IT HAS LAGUNA IN IT!!!

Too Faced Chocolate Bar Eyeshadow Palette

I've already become a huge lover of shades Salted Caramel, Creme Brulee and Candied Violet.

Primark Snake-Skin Purse

My face lit up when I opened this pretty little purse because I'm sad and got overly excited that it matched my go-to handbag.

Pandora Sterling Silver and 14Ct Gold 'Castle & Crown' Charm

Feeling completely and utterly spoilt, my boyfriend's mum gifted me this cute, luxury charm because I'm obsessed with Disney and it looked like Cinderella's castle :)

Vintage Pink Decorative Glass Pot

My grandparents know me too well - I love qwerky/vintage bits&bobs for my room, especially cases to store makeup/beauty items in :-) Comment below what you think I should use this to hold?!

Paperchase Owl and Floral Notebooks

This year I found out that I'm obsessed with list writing and being organised so what else would be the perfect present for me than these notebooks from my favourite stationery shop - PAPERCHASE!

After opening all my goodies on Christmas Day, I was overwhelmed to have received so many gorgeous, luxurious and well-thought-out gifts. I'm so lucky to have friends and family who think to buy me such amazing things and it was so fun purchasing my gifts for them back as a huge thank you for being there for me throughout 2015 (CRINGE)!

Oh...I almost forgot! I purposely avoided uploading any images of new clothing because I'd like to feature them in some upcoming posts as we go into the new year :-) Also, I have the infamous Ikea Malm Dressing table to store my makeup in/on now - wooo organisation at last!!

Thank you all for making 2015 a special blogging year for me.

Lots of love

Sharing Some Blogger Love This August

Today, I want to show some appreciation for some special bloggers I've been loving and reading religiously this month. I love each and everyone of these writer's styles, how they present their blog and the photos that go alongside it. They clearly work their ass off to create wonderful posts for us all so here's a heartfelt dedication post to my favourite hardworking bloggers of August 2015.

In no particular order...

First up is Daisy who is a lovely new blogger friend of mine. If you're a sucker for beauty posts, head on over to Daisy's blog to check out her latest favourites, a sneak peek into beauty boxes and her amazing 'Best Of *brand*' series each week or so. Me, being a huge fan of anything with aesthetics, loves to even glance down wildflowermakeup just to admire the gorgeous photos Daisy takes to show off her much loved products. I'm sure you will agree?!

Next we have my latest blogger friend addition - my twin Charlotte. We just had to get along, considering we have the same names right?! I am in love with her benefit product reviews and little lifestyle posts, as well as enjoying her current back to school makeup routine. Char is such a lovely character who you can't help but love, as seen through her writing. Head on over to charbeautypicks to check her out and let her know what you think!

One of my favourite fashion, food and all round lifestyle blogger definitely has to be Abi. After working with her a few months ago on a big fashion collaboration (HERE) I have fallen in love with her blog and have read every post since. I can't stop envying her style and pretty outfit posts. Abi is always active on social media so it is very easy to be updated on her latest posts - which I love, seeing as I'm a secret fangirl!! Follow her on these links below:

Like myself, Maddie owns a fashion, beauty and lifestyle blog. She is the youngest of my favourites and I find it incredible that has created such a gorgeous and sophisticated blog. Maddie looks absolutely stunning in all of her images and I adore her monochromal themed layout. If you're looking for a great read from day-to-day, I would totally recommend checking out Maddie's blog. It was such a pleasure working with her earlier on in the year too.

My final blogger favourite of the month is the infamous Sarah Ashcroft from That Pommie Girl. I have been an enormous fan of Sarah's 'outta-this-world' fashion sense for a year and a half and it just keeps getting better. She seems to be able to pull off anything and everything; a fashion blogger I'm 100% envious of. Even the simplest of outfits looks 10/10 on her!!! If you've been living under a rock and haven't so yet heard of Sarah, her links are below. Go on and admire her as much as I do!

Appreciating bloggers hard work is something that makes me smile. Blogging takes up a lot of time and effort, so appreciating ones work is something I'd like to do a bit more often. Hope you have fun looking at my favourite bloggers this Summer.

Who are your favourite bloggers?

Lots of love

~ Prom 2015 ~

On the 27th of June 2015, myself and fellow pupils of my school celebrated PROM after a very exhausting and longsome exam season. I had such an enjoyable day, both getting ready and at the event so I thought I would share the night through copious photos and an account of the evening.

First off, picking my dress was the ultimate obstacle. I had an idea in mind so variation of dresses was a no-go for me - very silly if you ask me, always keep an open mind. Anyway, I was obviously having a lucky day when I came across the most sensational, elegant dress I've ever seen in my life (photos above). I instantly fell in love with the silk falling material, the way the bottom hit the ground in a soft pink pool and the intricately designed jewels and scattered array of beads sewed onto the top half of the dress.

Makeup was the next task I had to tackle. I opted for a full coverage face, as I knew a lot of photos were to be taken. I paired the Mac Studio Fix Fluid with my new Nars Concealer and they worked a treat; further setting them in place with the infamous Rimmel Stay Matte powder. Eyes were the most important focus in my Prom look - I purchased the Mac Kitschmas pigment after seeing many beautiful swatches online. The overall effect was gorgeous and left me with the prettiest pink glittery lid - I also wore a pair of Eylure lashes in No 70 which were super natural. Finally, after adding extra definition to the face with a little Estee Lauder bronzer, Makeup Revolution blush and Bobbi Brown highlight, it was time for lips. YSL 01 was applied to my lips and blotted using powder to create a soft and subtle matte effect.

My hair was styled beforehand by an amazing hairdresser. She created a gorgeous rose-shaped bun on the lower part of my head, gripped pearly slides around the edge and left natural curls to fall down the side of my face.

Earlier on in the week, I went to a salon with my bestie Karis (in the navy dress) to get our nails done. I chose square-shaped with silver glitter to match the detailing on my dress, whereas Karis chose oval-shaped and navy-glitter to match hers.

Dress check. Nails check. Hair check. Makeup Check. All was done so nothing was left to do but take lots of glamorous piccies with my best friends. Passing time awaiting our dates to arrive, we took hundreds of pictures and had a bit of girly time before the boys came.

After many selfies later, the boys arrived and welcomed us each with the prettiest corsages ever. Aidan was so sweet and bought me the most amazingly matched piece to match my dress - bless him!

The boys then joined us and our parents went crazy again with the whole camera clicking as many more photos were taken.

We all travelled separately so Aidan and I made our way back to my house. Guess what? Our families kept clicking away at their phones and cameras again, taking lots of photos of myself and my beautiful prom date. Our car arrived and we had a swift, smooth journey to our event destination.

The event was held in a local spa hotel and the inside was decorated according to the hollywood theme. There was a red carpet and ropes welcoming us at the entrance and colour coordinated balloons/decor inside the venue too. Each table had balloons, sparkles, cupcakes and sweets - all maintaining the red and silver theme. There was also a photo booth in which my friends, boyfriend and I took stupid and formal pictures in as well.

The night got increasily better as it went on, with everyone dancing and having fun together on the dance floor. It was such a nice atmosphere - everyone who I've spent the last 5 years with getting along and creating positive memories. My bestie Jess also won prom queen - WOOOOO, GO JESS <3

Did you celebrate a prom this year? What colour was your dress?
