The St George's Day Wedding Day of Kim & Lewis at Bartle Hall

Jason & I first met up with the lovely Kim and her fabulous Mum Janet just over a year ago on a super sunny day at the fabulous Bartle Hall, we sat outside in the spring sunshine and talked at length about the families plans for a St George's Day wedding, Red Roses were of course a given, an essential ingredient to a very special day! We hit it off instantly and Jason & I have absolutely loved all the meetings and the time we've spent getting to know Kim, Lewis and Janet it really has been a joy and a privilege.
~
When Kim & Lewis came into FD HQ with their Mood Board for a meeting with Jason there was absolutely no doubt that St George's Day was still the theme for their big day, there was bags of detailed information included on their fabulous board and we planned for them to come in again to see a set of sample designs created just for them.
We made Kim a sample wedding bouquet
WE made Lewis a sample boutonniere
We made a hugely tall sample version of their Flower Bomb table design
We also made them a sample version of their Baroque Candelabras
At long last the big day arrived and Jason & I had the huge pleasure of presenting the Bridal Bouquets to our gorgeous Bride and her Bridesmaids in one of the suites at Bartle Hall
I'd included White Peonies, Red Roses, Sweet Peas and Gypsophilia in Kim's wedding bouquet

I showed, Kim and her lovely Bridesmaids how to carry their bouquets perfectly

I lined up the boutonnieres read to pin them on the Groom Lewis and his party as they arrived
The legendary Bride's Mum Janet looked gorgeus

We'd made Janet a small corsage of Red Rose buds
The Bride Groom's rather special Red & White Rose Boutonniere in honour of St George
Kim's super handsome Bride Groom the lovely Lewis was first to have his Boutonniere pinned to his lapel

I pinned on the Best Man DD's Boutonniere

The lovely Rob was next to have his Boutonniere pinned to his lapel

The super proud Groom's Dad Mick
 Mick & Alex

The Groom's Mum Ruth looked fabulous

A beautiful Red Rose Boutonniere for Nicky

Bartle Hall looked spectacular in the sunshine
The ceremony was held in the Windsor Suite where the scene was set with magnificent pedestals featuring a plethora of red Roses
The Pedestals included lots of white Hydrangeas, glorious Red Roses, Germinis and Gypsophilia

Creative Cover Hire had covered the chairs
Both Fireplaces were decorated with posies of fresh flowers
Upstairs the adorable little Flower Girl Jessica was all ready, we'd made her a cute little Magic wand posy of fresh Red Rose Buds, Peonies and Sweet Peas

Our lovely Bride Kim was ready and looking gorgeous

Rob was completely blown away when he arrived to see the Bride for the first time

The beautiful Bridesmaids were wearing bright red gowns and carried all white bouquets

The Bridesmaids Bouquets included White Peonies, White Roses and Sweet Peas

Huge and ginormous Congratulations to the lovely Kim & Lewis from all of the team here at Flower Design Events

Our newly married couple were showered with fresh fragrant Rose Petal Confetti as the headed down the aisle

Lucy was ready at the foot of the aisle with glasses of fizz for the brand Mr & Mrs Evans

The celebrations moved on to the Balmoral Suite
The dining tables were dressed with a combination of table designs
Our Magnificent FD Flower Bombs on tall elegant glass column vases

Some of the tables were dressed with a collection of low Hand tied posies in glass vases with tea light votives illuminating the tables
The wedding cake was made by the Bride's Grandma and dressed with fresh Red Roses

The top table was dressed with our Fleur De Lys design featuring three designs
The central design featured a St Georges Cross a design created especially for the Groom's Mum Ruth

Our Baroque Candelabras dressed some of the tables

Our Bride & Groom were shown in to the room to see the finished look...
There were tears (tears of joy obvs!)
