Gyp and thistle wedding

A lovely gyp based wedding from a while ago that got missed on the blog.

A slight twist on the usual gyp bouquet for the bride with added blue thistles and trails of ivy to add movement to the design as you walk down the aisle.

The bridesmaids each carried a posy of gyp with added shoestring ribbon trails.

The lovely flower girl carried a basket of gyp and thistles decorated with satin burgundy ribbon and cute bows.

The bride also wore gyp in her hair, and we provided 6 wired sprigs so the hair dresser could attach.

The groom wore a single thistle head with trig of gyp and and ivy leaf as his buttonhole.

While the rest of the groomsmen wore a single thistle hard and ivy leaf. All stems were bound with twine.

The ladies wore a corsage of gyp. The bride had asked for an elongated shape rather than the usual round bunch. We added white ribbon around the stems and a cute bow.

Buttonholes at the ready for delivery.

We also provided thank you flowers for the speeches

and a single table display for the wedding breakfast table. This included white lily, roses, gyp, and seasonal foliage.

Another intimate wedding party we created flowers for. Whatever size of your day we can style your flowers and deliver to your venue on the wedding morning.

If you love what we do, book a consultation to discuss your flowers soon, and let us take you on a flower adventure

Ivory and dusky pink rose wedding posies

These are the gorgeous bouquets that Rebecca had for her wedding a few weeks ago. Very simple designs of roses and gyp but they complimented her dress and style wonderfully.

The bridal bouquet was a posy of ivory and dusky pink roses surrounded by a cloud of gyp.

No foliage was to be included at all!

These roses were gorgeous and scented.

The three bridesmaids each carried a posy of ivory roses and gyp to compliment their dusky pink dresses.

And with the bridal posy too.

The bride also wore flowers in her hair of ivory spray roses and gyp

The groom wore a gorgeous double buttonhole of both roses and some gyp

The groomsmen wore ivory rose and gyp buttonholes

While mum wore a wrist corsage of double rose, gyp and small amount of foliage.

The other ladies wore dusky pink rose and gyp buttonholes.
No foliage in any buttonholes on the brides request.

The buttonholes all ready for presentation to the wedding party
