Vintage Rose Pink Shades for Lucy & Tom's Wedding at St Bernadette's & The Great Hall at Mains

This was such a gorgeous wedding day filled with friends, family and copious amounts of love for this beautiful couple. We had a great time with the planning and though I missed their mood board appointment which Jason did, we managed to catch up remarkably well at our next appointment, their mood board was stupendous with bags of useful details and we couldn't wait to get started creating some gorgeous flowers for them.
We were lucky enough to be working with some great wedding professionals including a gorgeous Modeca gown from the great folks at Lulu Browns, make up by the super lovely Sonara Parker MUA, great hair by M Hair Studio in Thornton,  a superb wedding venue The Great Hall at Mains and the brilliant folks from Twelve Event Management providing the delicious catering, Typical Type had provided all of the atmospheric outdoor lighting at TGHM  also a mention for the lovely cake maker Nickie Thackwray who did a really splendid job.
So following a couple of meetings to discuss their mood board we got together again in our FD studio to present a set of sample designs
We'd made Lucy a beautiful wedding bouquet in shades of rich vintage Pink through to pale blush pinks and ivory shades to tone with her gown and the Bridesmaid's gowns we also included a touch of blue Forget Me Nots and Love in the Mist
We made Tom a sample Boutonniere for the sample we used a Peony but decided to change this to a Darcey Rose
Our Baroque Candelabra dressed with fresh Peonies, Hydrangeas and Sweet Peas
An FD Flower Bomb sample was created for them to see
A sample suggestion for the top table design
Before we knew it the big day had arrived and Jason headed over to Bispham to the family home to present our gorgeous Bride Lucy and her lovely Bridesmaids with their glorious wedding bouquets
We included a variety of different shades of Peonies including Lady Anne, Angels Cheeks & Bowl of Cream, fresh English Garden Roses Darcey & Keira with Bombastic, Sweet Avalanche & Amalia, I included fresh scented Lily of the Valley, Sweet Peas, Forget Me Nots and Love in the Mist
We'd suggested including a touch of blue in the bridal bouquet at our first meeting, the blue forget me Nots & Love in the Mist bring out the beautiful blue shade of Lucy's eyes

The Bride's fabulous Mum the lovely Jane, we'd made her a wrist corsage to tone with her dress and her daughter's exquisite bouquet

The team from M Hair were busy putting the fresh flowers in the Bridesmaid's hair
Our lovely friend Sonara was busy making gorgeous faces even lovelier
Jason headed off to St Bernadette's RC Church in Bispham where he dressed the gates with one of our luscious FD Floral Hearts

Our Mood Board Easel even made an appearance at Church the perfect host for the welcome sign
Inside this modern Church we'd framed the ceremony space with two gorgeous pedestal design
Both aisles were dressed with posies of fresh flowers on alternating pew ends
Posies of Peonies, Roses and Hydrangeas dressed the pew ends

Lucy's super handsome Bride Groom the very lovely Tom was first to have his rather special Boutonniere pinned to his lapel
We'd used a Darcey Rose with a Bombastic Rose Bud, fresh Forget Me Nots, Love in the Mist and sweetly fragrance Sweet Peas in the Bride Groom's Boutonniere
Jason pinned on all of the boutonnieres ensuring each one was positioned perfectly
All of the Boutonnieres were unique, each one created from a collection of fresh flowers used in the Bridal Bouquets

The super glam Groom's Mum Elaine, we made her a wrist corsage to compliment her ivory and navy outfit perfectly

The lovely Nana Jean was wearing a pale lilac shade we'd made her a ladies small corsage to match of lilac Sweet Peas and ivory Rose buds.

The gorgeous Bride's Mum Jane with her lovely wrist corsage

Our breathtakingly beautiful Bride the super beautiful Lucy with very proud Dad Gary and her gorgeous Bridesmaids walked to Church as the house was only a few 100 yards away

The Bridesmaid's bouquets matched their dress colour perfectly
