Dove Grey & Ivory for Charlotte & Sean's Beautiful Wedding Day at St Oswald's in Preesall & Bartle Hall

One of the greatest joys of being a Lancashire Wedding & Event Florist is that we get to meet some truly lovely people Charlotte & Sean are just that, totally lovely people!!! and we get to work with some of the most gorgeous families, the very best bit is when we have the pleasure of working with the same gorgeous families for siblings, cousins and friends weddings and we get to see them all over again. Charlotte and Sean's wedding was just such a wedding, we'd all met before at Charlotte's Sister Emma & Brother in law Adam's wedding (here's a link to their big day) we were all looking forward to another great Wedding Day.
Besides all of that wonderfulness we also had the great pleasure of working at St Oswalds Church in Preesall it's such a great Church and the folks there are just lovely to us, the reception venue was none other than one of our all time favourites Bartle Hall, the Videographer and Film Maker was the totally brilliant Tom Harrington from Silk Wedding Films and the Photographer on the day was the fabulous Jonny Draper.

Charlotte and Sean are well educated in the ways of Flower Design Events and as a result had put together a sublime mood board, it covered all of the bases, it was immaculately set out and their brief was clear and understandable, to say we loved creating their sample designs would be an understatement, and who wouldn't given such a great collection of inspirational images...
We made a beautiful and super seasonal bridal bouquet in Dove Grey and Ivory with evergreen shades including Hyacinths, Helebores, Paper Whites, Anemones, Chasmanthium Latifolia, Viburnum Opulus, Senecio, Silver grey Thistles, Pittosphorum, Albiflora, Jasmine, Ranunculus, Roses and Eucalyptus, it was in a relaxed style
 Gorgeous Roses and Helebores

We made Sean a sample Boutonniere o match his Brode's Bouquet
We made a tall elegant sample table design featuring Avalanche Roses, Hydrangeas, Lissianthus, Jasmine, Viburnum Opulus, Trails of Ivy, Trailing Amaranthus, Albiflora and Senecio

The sample lower style table design incorporated posies of fresh flowers in silver mercury glass vessels with a collection of candlesticks and tea light votives set on a large mirror plate

 Ranunculus, Anemones, Roses and Albiflora
The sample suggestion for the top table design was set on a series of square mirrors with a collection of low vessels filled with posies of fresh flowers, glass hurricane lamps and silver tea light votives

The gorgeous wedding bouquet was just so relaxed and fragrant a heavenly collection of exquisite February flowers, foliages, herbs and berries
The Bride Groom's  grey and ivory Boutonniere featured a white Ranunculus and Rose with grey Eryngium Thistle, Albiflora, Chasmanthium Latifolia, Senecio, Rosemary, Euavlyptus, Ivy and Albiflora Berries
Jason had the great pleasure of presenting our Beautiful Bride Charlotte and her lovely Sister Emma with their Bouquets, he showed them how to carry them perfectly

Just a few yards down the road from the Bride's family home is their family Church St Oswalds in Preesall, we've worked here before and always receive a warm welcome.
First to have his boutonniere pinned to his lapel was Charlotte's super handsome Bride Groom the very lovely Sean
Sean's Boutonniere looked perfect on his lapel and matched his grey suit beautifully
Inside this fabulous Church we'd dressed each alternate pew end lining the aisle with a posy of fresh flowers, leading up to the Altar where we'd arranged four magnificent pedestals to frame the ceremony
Four of our magnificent pedestals were topped with English garden style urns filled to overflowing with tumbling Jasmine, Ivy, Amaranthus, Hydrangeas, Roses, Eryngium, Viburnum Opulus, Lissianthus and Albiflora, the fragrance was heavenly!!xx

Fresh fragrant posies of Hyacinths, Roses, Lissianthus, Hydrangeas and Amaranthus decorated the Chairs lining the aisle

Love these magnificent pedestals they look so voluptuous and luscious
Tom from Silk Wedding Films & Jonny Draper were leading the Bridal Party to Church

Our gorgeous Bride the Charlotte with her super proud Dad Roger

The lovely Bridesmaid Emma was wearing a pewter grey shade, we'd made her bouquet as a smaller more compact version of the Bride's Bouquet
 Charlotte looked absolutely breathtaking

Our super tall conical vases looked wonderful on some of the tables a 'Flower bomb' of Hydrangeas, Roses, Lissiantus, Anemones, Eryngium Thistles, Jasmine and Ivy trails sat on top of a tall tall elegant trumpet/conical vase, we'd suspended candlelit glass orbs from the design to provide illumination on the table, the entire design was sat on a mirror plate and surrounded by mrecury glass tea light votives
The lower table designs were set on a huge mirror plate and consisted of a collection of silver and mercury glass vessels filled with posies of fresh flowers and silver candlesticks, hurricane lamps and mercury glass votives illuminated the table so romantically

The beautifully elegant wedding cake was dressed with a floral cake topper using the same fresh flowers we'd used to create the wedding bouquet.
The Top Table looked glorious, the team from Creative Cover Hire had provided a silver sequin tablecloth which provided the perfect backdrop to our design which was set on a series of square mirrors with a collection of low vessels filled with posies of fresh flowers, glass hurricane lamps and silver tea light votives

Huge thanks to Charlotte and Sean and both of their lovely families for choosing Flower Design Events to create their wedding flowers for them we loved ever second!!!xxx
