Wedding flowers at The Coach House Doddington Hall

Continuing our feature on local venues we take a closer look at our flower designs at the beautiful coach house at Doddington Hall.

The wedding ceremony that we dressed and styles was held in the coach house. The ceremony table was styled with a long garland style design to cover the front of the table.

It was filled with a beautiful array of pastel blooms including gerbera, roses, bouvardia, spray roses and lovely foliage.
This would later be transferred to the top table.

The beautiful chivari chairs on the aisle were dressed with our small hurricane vases filled with posies of daisies, hung with gorgeous satin ribbon which was tied with a bow.

For a more formal style wedding reception, on half the tables we styled glass cubes with calla lily, oriental lilies and curcumas,

and on the other half the low cylinder vases had a lovely display of oriental lilies and bear grass.

Not forgetting the coffee tables, with their own smaller take on the displays.
These are perfect as gifts for the significant members of your party.

If you prefer taller designs this pale pink and blue wedding was oh so pretty.

Our tall candelabras styled with taper candles, blue hydrangea and pink and white roses certainly add height to the designs

While on the other tables pretty flower balls stood atop our tall conical vases.

For a simpler style, jam jars with a single delphinium  and gyp may be more your look.

Beautifully simple yet very effective.

Back to the country style, zinc jugs filled with beautiful mix of pastel blooms.

To jazz up a door way or corner we have bay trees to hire

or perhaps something more flowery and a pedestal filled with white and cream blooms.

Having welcome boards that just need a flowery touch? we can accommodate with a few blooms and lots of trailing foliage

Also make sure the sweet cart doesn't miss out.

The coach house is a beautiful space perfectly decorated so you can add your own style.
Are you getting married here, or at another similar location? We would love to hear your wedding plans and in particular your flowery dreams. Let us help you create your perfect displays -

Civil Ceremony flower ideas

Today we are looking at civil ceremony's and how you can style the space for saying 'I Do'.

If you are very fortunate and your venue is allowed to have a ceremony outside (and the weather is kind!) you could get wed under something like this arbor. This one at The Dower House Hotel is one of our favourites, so easy to decorate and the setting is superb.
Whether you choose all foliage

or flowers and foliage it will sure look stunning in your photos.
It really is a lovely setting to get married in.

Beautiful photography from Richard Moore.

Or the second best is an orangery, lots of light and hopefully sunshine to enjoy through the ceremony. This is at Stoke Rochford Hall, thanks to Mark Pugh for the photo.

Most venues, however, are inside but these can be decorated to suit your style and colours and you are guaranteed to stay dry.

Our usual display for the ceremony table is the long and low, this can be made in many styles, from large leaves and flowers for a structured look to light and fairy with small dainty flowers for a country look.

We can also provide the bay trees dressed with roses and ribbons and base of your choice.

Elsham Hall
Most of these displays will be transferred across to your top table for the wedding breakfast.

Hemswell Court

If long and lows are not your style then you could opt for a posy, these work well if moving to a round top table.

Or you could decide to keep it simple and add in small jars of flowers with possibly a trail or two of foliage.

Different jars and heights add interest to mixed stems of flowers.

Or how about a garland for the table? A simple hanging garland of daisies and foliage.
Our trees can also come with fairy lights

Or a larger fuller table garland the full length of the table

Coach House Doddington Hall

Or the same design but with compact gyp. Add in pretty lanterns for a winter wedding.

Washingborough Hall
Don't forget the space around the room, and note how the room will be used after the ceremony. At Cleatham Hall this room usually has a table or two for the reception. The fireplace design will feature in both and the ceremony table flowers will be added to the top table.

Here at Elsham Hall the jars of flowers for both (yes there is usually two) tables will double up as centrepieces for the guest tables and the two gorgeous pedestals will sit either side the top table. But using all flowers for the main bit, the ceremony, creates a pretty space for your vows.

We can also provide an arch for an indoor ceremony, space allowing. (this one belongs to Elsham Hall but we have 2 styles, rustic and metal).
We can cover with organza, foliage or flowers or a combination of all.

We will set up and dismantle this for you however you decorate it.

We can even add in fairy lights for you!

You still have an aisle to walk down don't forget. It may not be as long as a church aisle but still decorate the space. Here we have hurricane jars of daisies hung on chivari chairs.

Or, back to an outside ceremony (we can set these up inside too) shepherd crook hangers with jars of flowers.

Straw bales are the in seating for outside functions but do ask your venue, some have banned them due to the mess.

Do look around and see what you can use your guest table designs for during the service. Most venues are happy to reset your designs for you on the change over while you have photos. Or if a more difficult set up we can stay around and do this for you.
We love giving you value for money and reusing flowers for different parts of your day will help with that. Ask us for more information at a consultation.

If you have seen anything you like here for your own wedding then do get in touch to discuss your style and colours. We have many more options to style the space whatever type of venue you have chosen.

We look forward to hearing from you soon

Wedding at DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Lincoln

This gorgeous rose and gyp wedding was held in the Cathedral suite at The DoubleTree by Hilton Lincoln.

The registrars table was decorated with jars of gyp and roes and gyp. The bride decorated the jars herself. These were to be placed along the top table for the reception and as there were a few spare we placed 3 on the other officiants table too.

This was the final setting after the lovely Rachel from Eventexquisite ltd had worked her magic.

We also provided large martini vases filled with these scrummy roses and gyp. These were for the guest tables but I am of the opinion if you can use a display for both parts of your day then you should! The venue brought in these lovely glass tables from the bar and we had 2 either side to elongate the aisle for the bride to walk down.

They were filled with ivory avalanche and a dusky pink rose, gyp and lots of lovely foliage.
These displays are self contained and can be given away to guests at the end of the day.
The vases are hired through us and collected next day so you don't have to worry about a thing.

These look wonderful on these tables, so happy with the way this looked.

We set up before the whole room was dressed as we had an extremely early start.

The look the bride would get as she starts the walk towards her groom.

A short video of the set up

As there were still another couple of vases we placed these in the bar area on coffee tables, the guests would walk through here ion their way to the cathedral suite.

Rachel from Eventexquisite ltd very kindly has let me share these finished set up photos with you.

In this type of room these chair covers and sashes really do transform the whole look and style

The reception was held in the same room and on turn around this is the finished product.

Top table all dressed with sashes by event exquisite ltd and flowers by us.

The guest tables with the martini vases. This room has a high ceiling and really needs some tall designs to fill some of the void. They do draw your eye through the venue too and a little touch of colour works it's magic.

Are you getting married at The DoubleTree Hilton Lincoln? Would you like to see how we can transform this room to your colours and style? We are also happy to liase with Rachel to perfect your look should you wish to work with the both of us.

Or are you getting wed elsewhere and love these designs? We can fill these martini vases with flowers to suit your style or differing colour roses. We set up on the day and collect all next day, meaning you have one less thing to sort out after the day is over.
