Julie & Nigel's Gorgeous Wedding Day at The Glendower Hotel in St Annes

We have such an amazing time with this family, it was so lovely to work with them again on Julie & Nigel's fabulous wedding flowers, a palette of deep Corals, bright Peaches, ivory, Pink and navy blue was decided upon, they were getting married at the completely wonderful Glendower Hotel and the great folks from Dove Photography were capturing all of the magic for them, it was always going to be a magical day.

In Julie's gorgeous wedding bouquet I had used a really beautiful collection of autumnal blooms including sweet scented Freesia to remember Julie's lovely Mum, I gathered together a gorgeous collection of Roses David Austin's Juliet, Vuvuezela, Miss Piggy, Sweet Avalanche and Vendella together with fresh Lily of the Valley, Calla Lilies, Hypericum, Sedum and Hydrangeas
Chloe & I had the delightful task of presenting the Bridal Bouquets to our lovely Bride and her Bridesmaids in one of the stunning suites at Best Western Glendower Hotel
I handed over the bouquet to our stunning Bride Julie
Julie's beautiful Daughter Hayley, we'd been lucky enough to create flowers for her wedding to Tim a couple of years ago Link
The lovely Katharine was handed her bouquet

The fabulous Amy Tattersall from The Salon in Poulton was doing the hair and make up, it looked superb xxxx

I showed these beautiful ladies how to carry their bouquets perfectly

Julie had, had a last minute dress disaster when the shop she'd bought it from let her down at the last minute, thankfully Julie has such a fabulous figure she was able to get sorted out with this stunning gown last week (a blessing in disguise, she couldn't have looked lovelier!!!xx), Gill from Moment's in Time came to the rescue with this gorgeous gown by Bride's by Harvee

Down stairs we lined up the Calla Lily Boutonnieres ready to pin them on to the Groom's party as they arrived
The Bride Groom's rather special Boutonniere featured a Calla Lily with fresh Lily of the Valley, Rolled Rose Petals, Rose buds, Sedum a Quercus Leaf & Hypericum Berries
The Page Boy Harris had a miniature version of the Groom's Boutonniere

Julie's super handsome Bride Groom the lovely Nigel was first ('ish) to have his Boutonniere pinned to his lapel

Harris of course was next
Mark would be responsible for walking his Mum down the aisle
It was super lovely to see Tim again

Tracey was looking lovely and her simple boutonniere matched perfectly
What a joy to see Sue & Stef again too we had the pleasure of creating flowers for their wedding day back in February 2013 link

The scene was set in the Ballroom at The Glendower, with our candlelit lanterns and fresh fragrant Rose Petals lining the aisle, two magnificent pedestals framed the ceremony space and fresh flowers dressed the Registrars table and the occasional tables around the room
