The Beautifully Eclectic Wedding Day of Tamsin & Thomas at St Mary & All Saints, Whalley & Whalley Abbey

I have absolutely loved working with the truly fabulous Tamsin, alongside being a great lady, a superb Mum and finishing off her Phd and goodness knows what else, she managed to create a spectacular mood board for us to work with and it really was an absolute joy ...
We got together again at FD HQ for us to present a set of sample bridal designs, all of the designs were created in line with our thorough and detailed discussions, I really wanted to make sure that the designs were just right, everything we'd talked about was taken into account, we'd included lots of personal details and elements that were relevant  to Tamsin & Thomas...

Sample Table design arranged in vintage china
A sample boutonniere designed for Thomas
At last the big day arrived and Jason headed out early to find our Bride and present her with the bridal bouquets
Jason showed the lovely Tamsin how to carry her bouquet perfectly
The beautiful bridal bouquet in soft pastel shades included fresh Peonies, Roses, Lily of the Valley, Sweet Peas, Astilbe, Love in the Mist, Delphinium, Cornflowers, Marjoram, Peppermint, Ivy, Hosta, Oregano, Chamomile, Hydrangeas and Astrantia
The gorgeous Bride's Mum Julie

Jason headed off to St Mary & All Saints Church in Whalley
Posies of fresh flowers in vintage china and glassware decorated the ledges and windowsills

Inside this hugely historic Church we'd decorated each alternate Pew end with a posy of fresh fragrant blooms

The internal arch was also decorated with two swags of fresh flowers
Swags of fresh fragrant English garden flowers decorated either side of the arch, framing the ceremony space perfectly
The Pew end posies were all beautifully made using a unique combination of fresh flowers in each one

Jason lined up the boutonnieres & corsages ready to pin them on the lapels of Groom and his party as they arrived
The Bride Groom's rather special boutonniere of Lavender, Astrantia, Rose Buds, Love in the Mist, Forget Me Nots, Hydrangeas and Chamomile Daisies
The Groom's Mum's Corsage in Champagne and black designed to compliment her ensemble
Tamsin's super handsome Bride Groom Thomas was first to have his boutonniere pinned to his lapel

The most adorable page boy ever!!!xx

Tamsin's hair was by the fabulous Sam Gatley and her make up was by the lovely Leanne Jackson mua
The Bridesmaid's bouquets were created as posy shaped versions of the Bridal Bouquet

The celebrations moved just around the corner to the magnificent Whalley Abbey

Inside the wedding reception hall the tables were laid out in a 'Hogwarts' style with long trestle tables

The top table featured the Bride's bouquet n the centre
The beautiful wedding cake was surrounded by a garland of fresh foliages
The little Flower Girls Posy was placed in a vase to keep it fresh and beautiful

Posies of fresh English garden blooms decorated the length of each table

Cups and saucers filled with fresh flowers looked beautiful on the dining tables

Each table had a different collection of fresh flowers spreading along the length of the whole table
Posies in Milk Jugs, Sugar Bowls and Tea Pots looked perfect in this lovely setting

Tiered cake stands too were dressed with posies of fresh flowers

The china tea pot looked splendid with it's posy of fresh Peonies, Roses, Phlox and Hydrangeas

Our work here was done, it was time to leave the party in full swing, many thanks to Tamsin & Thomas for choosing Flower Design Events to create their wedding flowers for them.
