Stunning blue wedding set up at Cleatham Hall

A couple of weeks ago this wedding finally happened!! It has been booked for so long and it didn't disappoint.
O & S opted for lots of blue for their flowers and chose many designs from previous work, adding their own take to make them personal to their day.
The groom's buttonholes were a glorious blue mix of Iris, Nigella, Delphinium floret and hydrangea flowers with ivy foliage.

The rest of the groomsmen were basically the same design, as were the lovely chair decorations, see video.

New phone, new settings, thought I was taking photos during the video, but alas no.

The whole wedding was set at Cleatham Hall, one of my favourite venues and always a pleasure to set up at.
The top table was a lovely long and low design of gorgeous ivory roses, blue hydrangea, iris (being very stubborn and refusing to bloom) with purple eustoma and lots of foliage.

One of my favourite places to display flowers, Cleatham Hall's fireplace! Such a stunning setting on it's own but with a full mantlepiece display the WOW factor is off the scale.
Beautiful delphinium spikes, hydrangea balls, iris, Nigella, eustoma and ivory roses with gorgeous locally sourced foliage.

The guest tables were treated to two different types of display. The first, our large cream bird cages, sat on a flowery base of roses, hydrangea, nigella, iris and gyp with lots more foliage.

The second, our tall conical vases with a stunningly beautiful display of pale blue delphinium spikes, surrounded with gyp all sat on a base of variegated ivy.
The lovely orangery, here at the hall can certainly take the height and all in all a simple elegant design to match the decor.

They certainly took your breath away on entering the room.

Cleatham Hall also has these beautiful alcoves on the stairwell and it always seems a shame not to decorate them. All guests staying the night or getting ready here will walk down past these

and what a sight to behold on the way to say your vows.

The beautiful delphinium table display in all it's glory

Cleatham Hall Wedding Flowers

Today's blog continues the series of beautiful Lincolnshire venues that we love dressing with our flowers. Today's featured venue is Cleatham Hall. Set in North Lincolnshire amongst the lovely countryside just north of Kirton Lindsey, this venue is tucked away but has the most gorgeous views.

It is a Grade II listed building and is a wonderful boutique style wedding venue.

As you pull up the drive this wonderful frontage greets you. Here we decorated the stone urns with box balls and roses, ranunculus and mixed foliage. Add in a few jars of flowers for the steps and this could be the entrance which greets your guests on arrival.

Once inside there is a grand hallway with various furniture just crying out for beautiful flowers to adorn it.

Nothing needs to be huge, simple vases of mixed scented blooms really do work here.

Or to add to the country feel, small wooden crates can be filled with blooms for the decorations.

Your welcome table can sit at the bottom of the stairs, before guests going into the ceremony room. Place your seating plan here, present table or card box to guide your guests to the ceremony.

If you are getting ready here, the rooms are stunning by the way, you may want to add to the gorgeous stairwell by adding in garlands of flowers.

You can be as elaborate or as simple as your style,
This is ruscus foliage with a few coral coloured carnations, a very simple idea,

or for more colour, add in groups of flowers at intervals up the bannister

or go all out and have a gorgeous full foliage garland with lots of lovely blooms added in

Or just decorate the front spindles to add colour at the end of the hall, the choice is yours.

Also on this staircase are these lovely alcoves. Just think about walking down the stairs on the way to your vows and seeing gorgeous scented blooms on your way. A great chance for the photographer to work their magic, I love a great staircase shot.

Again be as bold or as simple as the rest of the designs. Add in colour or keep neutral.

One area I particularly love about this venue is the fireplaces. This one in the ceremony room is fabulous. The whole setting, the fireplace, the large gilt mirror, it just screams for flowers to be fully dressed.

Whether you go for colour or neutral blooms the effect is stunning.

Full length or half, the choice is yours.

A wedding ceremony set up with registrar table and fireplace design.

Instead of our usual long and low, how about a foliage garland with country blooms?

On to the guest tables.
With the high ceiling own the orangery both tall and low designs can work here.
These are tall candlesticks with a flower ball of hydrangea and roses. Pumpkin vases of blooms add to the display down low.

Glass cubes of seasonal roses and peonies filled the orangery with scent and look oh so pretty on all the tables.

This whole setting is very classic, gorgeous chivari chairs, simple table settings with nothing that isn't needed. Keeping a very clean and simple style.

Tall flower balls on clear vases add a punch of colour to the room.

Another very classy clean style just with a touch more colour.

Or for real WOW factor, these delphinium filled designs with ammi and ivy are a real show stopper. Add in jars of pinker blooms at the base for a stunning look but still very country style.

A top table with more going on. A foliage garland on front, a small long and low design centre and lovely pumpkin vases with a few blooms to add to the setting. Add in coloured candlesticks and you have a very romantic setting for the wedding breakfast. This is perfect for a pale blue or coral themed day.

Lastly the perfect garden to hold your outside games or to have food wagons ect for the evening entertainment.

A perfect setting for your boutique style wedding.
I am one of the Wedding Partners at this gorgeous venue and will happily meet you their if you prefer to talk through your plans.
