Wedding flowers at DoubleTree by Hilton

Our feature venue today is the hotel venue DoubleTree By Hilton.
We have dressed and styled this venue many times over the years with all sorts of designs and love to turn this space into one that you will love.

Ceremony table of small hurricane vases with a rose and gyp connected with entwined foliage.

Butterfly lanterns finish the style. All can  be transferred to your top table for the wedding breakfast.

Our gorgeous mercury vases look stunning on the tables, this was an autumn styled set up.

With the top table styled with lots of seasonal foliage, roses, carnations and other seasonal blooms.

The height of the Cathedral room makes our crystal chimney candelabras an excellent choose for you guest tables. Dressed here with entwined foliage and a rose hanging from each arm.

If green is your theme, we have lovely green pots which we can fill with your choice of blooms. Here are green anastasia chrysants, protea and button santini and foliage.

These also look beautiful as an addition to the bar.

Keeping the same flowers, a lower design for the top table.

For some height to your designs, how about our lily vases with a small flower ball? These gorgeous designs were roses and freesia and teamed with low posies add interest to draw your eye through the room.

Pale pink, dusky pink and ivory roses with freesia and foliage.

Posies can also be placed on the top table if you don't like a large central design.

Another green look, although can be achieved in any colour, are our bird nest designs. Amongst a nest of vines sits a display of spring gorgeousness.

Another low design are our small posies, brilliant if budgets are tight or you want to give away as gifts to guests. These were for a red and yellow colour scheme, one of our more unusual colours but anything is possible.

Lily vases with cream lilies and lilac anastasia chrysants add a touch of colour to a lilac wedding reception.

Or the ever popular bird cages in lavender and peach. A self contained design on this occasion or can be created to trail further out of the cage.

Another popular design are our martini vases. We have many sizes, this being 60cm. Large enough to take large blooms like sunflowers and more than suitable so not to be in guests way and hinder conversation.

Another 60cm martini vase filled this time with roses and gyp.
The flower display is yours to keep and is easily removed from the vase.

Use your table displays through your day, brighten up coffee tables while guests wait for the ceremony (above), or add on to your aisle to give a longer space and to pretty up the entrance.

Then move to the guest tables for your wedding breakfast displays.

Are you getting married at The DoubleTree by Hilton? Hopefully this has shown the varied work we can create for your wedding flowers. There is lots more choice which we can talk you through at a consultation.
Are you getting married at a similar hotel venue? These rooms can be a little bland but with the right suppliers and flower designs we can transform the space to a beautiful styled room to wow your guests.

If you love what we create, get in touch and book a consultation so we can show you more ideas and talk you through your dreams and find a perfect match.

Wedding at DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Lincoln

This gorgeous rose and gyp wedding was held in the Cathedral suite at The DoubleTree by Hilton Lincoln.

The registrars table was decorated with jars of gyp and roes and gyp. The bride decorated the jars herself. These were to be placed along the top table for the reception and as there were a few spare we placed 3 on the other officiants table too.

This was the final setting after the lovely Rachel from Eventexquisite ltd had worked her magic.

We also provided large martini vases filled with these scrummy roses and gyp. These were for the guest tables but I am of the opinion if you can use a display for both parts of your day then you should! The venue brought in these lovely glass tables from the bar and we had 2 either side to elongate the aisle for the bride to walk down.

They were filled with ivory avalanche and a dusky pink rose, gyp and lots of lovely foliage.
These displays are self contained and can be given away to guests at the end of the day.
The vases are hired through us and collected next day so you don't have to worry about a thing.

These look wonderful on these tables, so happy with the way this looked.

We set up before the whole room was dressed as we had an extremely early start.

The look the bride would get as she starts the walk towards her groom.

A short video of the set up

As there were still another couple of vases we placed these in the bar area on coffee tables, the guests would walk through here ion their way to the cathedral suite.

Rachel from Eventexquisite ltd very kindly has let me share these finished set up photos with you.

In this type of room these chair covers and sashes really do transform the whole look and style

The reception was held in the same room and on turn around this is the finished product.

Top table all dressed with sashes by event exquisite ltd and flowers by us.

The guest tables with the martini vases. This room has a high ceiling and really needs some tall designs to fill some of the void. They do draw your eye through the venue too and a little touch of colour works it's magic.

Are you getting married at The DoubleTree Hilton Lincoln? Would you like to see how we can transform this room to your colours and style? We are also happy to liase with Rachel to perfect your look should you wish to work with the both of us.

Or are you getting wed elsewhere and love these designs? We can fill these martini vases with flowers to suit your style or differing colour roses. We set up on the day and collect all next day, meaning you have one less thing to sort out after the day is over.

Mayor Making at The DoubleTree Hilton Hotel Lincoln

On 16th May Lincoln held it's annual ceremony to swear in a new Mayor.
We were honoured to be asked once again to supply the presentation posies and the table flowers for the luncheon.

We kept the flowers in Council colours, and created these gorgeous posies of carnation, green trick dianthus, parrot tulips, santini and semi double chrysants and white mascara with mixed foliage.
These were delivered to The Guildhall for presentation during the ceremony.

The luncheon was held at The DoubleTree by Hilton in The Cathedral Suite.

The colours were again kept neutral, in the Councils own colours, and this year we made a 'nest' out of vines and filled these with the same flowers as the posies.

Apparently they went down a storm!!

The Cathedral Suite all ready for the arrival of it's very distinguished guests.

A lovely note from Kate who orders the flowers every year.

Just wanted to say thank you very much for yesterday’s flowers, they were beautiful!   Everyone loved the nests!
Best wishes.

Kate

It is an absolute age since I have used parrot tulips but they are gorgeous. Unfortunately they were at the end of the season but these will be on my watch list for next spring.

Two photos by the official photographer at the event taken from The City of Lincoln Facebook page. See here for all details https://www.facebook.com/TheCOLC/

Although this is a civic function we can create these designs for weddings or corporate events held at this venue or any other around Lincoln.
Do drop us a line if you love these as much as the guests did and ask us how we can tailor them to your colours and style.
