Personalise your Phone Case ¦ CaseApp

Personalisation is something that can make someone's day. I think personalised gifts are the key to a loved one's heart - whether is be something sentimental like a necklace or framed photograph, something creative like a scrapbook or something practical like a phonecase or mug.

CaseApp are a brand that specialises in personalised phone/laptop cases; you are able to chose from a pre-made design, like my 'Perfect White Marble' one, or insert your own image. After seeing marble-print invading all my social media, I just had to go for this design!

Rather than overloading my masterpiece with tons of emojis, photos and text, I decided to keep it basic - simplicity is key for me. I thought bombarding the case with excess material would take away from the beautiful marble design. Thus, in pretty, elegant font I typed 'Char Emily' (my Instagram name) along with a cute black love heart, to the bottom of my design.

On arrival, I was delighted to receive an immaculate-printed, good quality case that has already withstood a few falls. Being clumsy I always drop my phone and end up damaging ever single case I purchase; however, there is not a single mark after a couple of weeks! Also, I am in love with the smooth, matte finish - this is very aesthetically pleasing and sets aside from my other phone covers that hold 21940832487 sequins and gems.

If you are struggling for a gift idea, I highly recommend personalised ones. With swift delivery and phenomenal quality, you cannot go wrong with CaseApp. Don't forget to check out their designs!

Nokia Lumia 735 // Review

Today I have a very exciting post - I teamed up with the wonderful people at Nokia/Windows for a two week project. This project allowed me to taste one of their latest smartphone additions on their branch of technology and let all of you know what my experience was like with it.

Before being contacted, I had seen the Lumia 735 in many online ads, newspapers etc with an exceptional reputation - headlines mainly consisting of 'THE BEST SELFIE CAMERA OF 2015!' Therefore, after being contacted by the Nokia community, I was nothing more than excited to know I was going to trial this fab phone and dive into all of its unique features.

On the visual end of the spectrum, I would like to point out my instant love for the large 4.7 inch screen. Huge phone screens are one of my favourite features to a touch-screen because it makes typing and navigating so much easier! As seen above, the colour phone I received was a vibrant, neon green; personally, I dislike this colour as I tend to opt for neutral phones colours (white, black&grey). However, I think that coloured phones can help incorporate individuality; there are a range of commonly-loved colours to choose from - RED, BLUE, ORANGE, GREEN, BLACK and WHITE.

THE BEST SELFIE CAMERA PHONE OF 2015!

Now, into exploring the wonderful photo features this phone beholds. With a 6.7 megapixel rear and 5 megapixel front camera, high quality images are processed and amazing results are achieved. I was unbelievably impressed with the photos I took because iPhone cameras have a poor tendency to form blurred, grainy images. Therefore, there is a 9/10 possibility you can take the best selfie of 2015 on this - especially with the array of pretty filters to chose from when finding your best angle! Finally, camera-wise, the flash is also a fab extension to the camera's many features.

Overall, the highlights of my time with this phone would be as follows. First, I would like to praise the wonderful selfie camera and its determination to make you feel happy with your appearance. Secondly, the home screen layout has a brightly coloured design and large buttons to allow easy navigation around the phone. Next, I can't stop thinking about the insane battery power; I went two days with no charging and the percentage was on 27%!

The only negatives I faced was the colour (but can easily be replaced with my desired colour) and the speaker wasn't as loud as I thought it would be. I'm a music fanatic so carrying music on my phone is essential; this isn't a major fault though because speakers exist!!

Carry On Flight Essentials

As everyone seems to be heading off to tropical islands and sandy beaches, including myself to Turkey tomorrow evening, I thought I would upload a post dedicated to my hand luggage. Here are my personal holy grail items to carry on board with me whilst on the plane.

My carry on essentials this summer will be stored in my new mint green rucksack, which I can say was an absolute bargain (eight freakin' pounds!!!) from Primark. Not only the rucksack being my favourite colour, it is also a perfect size for storing what I need, helping me to concise with what I require on the flight and will look fabulous with many an outfit when strolling down to the beach.

Books/magazines are a huge must for me on board and during a relaxing holiday. I take a book/magazine or two to pass time on lengthy flights and when chilling in the sun's generous 36 degree rays. Next, a favourite of all - especially for those who despise reading of any sort. Almost everyone I know cannot travel anywhere without taking headphones; listening to music passes time in a fun way. I couldn't forget these - SWEETS! Nothing passes time better than eating and eating and eating until your plane finally lands at your destination. I also like to carry a packet of mints/gum to keep my breath smelling great until I can brush my teeth again.

The camera I will be taking snaps on this year is my pink digital polaroid, along with my iphone 5s - I tend to get snap happy when I'm soaring through the air and take 100s of photos before I've even arrived of the wonderful views from above. Many people, often older, would much prefer to kill time by taking a long nap on the plane - a good ol' eye mask helps a lot when the plane's on-board lights are on full beam. Penultimately, you musn't forget to shove your purse in before leaving. Imagine how much of a disaster it would be if you had no money to purchase some pointless junk memorabilia?! Finally, sunglasses break almost instantly in a suitcase so I would advise you to take them in your handbag/rucksack.

Where are you going away this year? What do you NEED in your carry on?
