What a lovely time we've had with Stephanie & Martin planning the wedding flowers for their beautiful Spring wedding at the splendid Samlesbury Hall, a venue steeped in history, seemed the perfect choice for these two lovely folks.
We loved their detailed mood board which helped to inspire our designs, we were really looking forward to seeing Stephanie's gorgeous gown by Oleg Cassini and we'd be working with an amazing photography duo Laura & Peter Lawson from Lawson Photography
Following their Mood Board appointment Stephanie and Martin were invited back to FD HQ to view a set of sample designs we'd created just for them
A suggestion for their Registrars table
Stephanie's wedding bouquet was a naturally 'bundled' design featuring Larkspur, Delphiniums, Veronica, Roses, Oxypetalum, Viburnum Oplus and Muscari in a beautiful colour palette of Pink, Lilacs, Blues and pale greens
We'd also created a sample Boutonniere for Martin to see
Before we knew it the Big Day had arrived, Jason presented our Bride with her bridal flowers at the Bridal Lodge at Samlesbury Hall
The seriously beautiful Stephanie with her bouquet, Jason showed her how to carry it and introduced her to the flowers we'd used
Over at Samlesbury Hall Jason pinned on the boutonnieres to Stephanie's handsome Bride Groom Martin and his Groom's Men, ensuring each one was positioned perfectly
Inside The Whitaker Room the scene was set for the ceremony
A collection of Fresh Flowers, Birdcages and lanterns was arranged around the Registrars table
The Groom's Mum Susan looked lovely and her wrist corsage completed her ensemble prefectly
The super glam Bride's Mum Sheila was wearing a wrist corsage too, the perfect choice for her lace topped dress
The Bridesmaids were wearing teal gowns and carried smaller versions of the Bride's Bouquet
Our gorgeous Bride Stephanie looked heavenly
Huge Congratulations to Stephanie & Martin from all of the team here at Flower Design Events
The Great Hall at Samlesbury Hall was dressed for the Wedding Reception
The tables were dressed with 'Baroque' style Birdcages surrounded by fresh flowers
The Top Table was decorated with candlelit fresh flowers
Some of the tables were dressed with collections of bottles and jars filled with posies of frsh flowers and herbs
Massive thanks to Stephane & Martin for choosing Flower Design Events to create their wedding flowers for them
