An Easter wedding is such a joy, I am reminded of my own childhood, growing up in my parent's flower business, Easter back then was a hugely popular time of year to be married (due in part to the Married Man's Tax Allowance) the Easter break and the beautiful Blossom trees all played their part in it's popularity, but I remember so vividly the immense quantity of fresh and vibrant flowers, a refreshing sight after the long winter months with a scarce flower supply, Easter heralded the start of the flower season and they would arrive into our chillers behind the shop. The flowers we'd chosen for the lovely Hanna & Adam's wedding brought all of those happy memories flooding back, and it wasn't just the visual spectacle it was the amazing fragrance, the scent of Spring!

We have known the very beautiful Hanna for a good while, she was a Bridesmaid at Sarah & Leigh's wedding back in 2010 here's a link, we were sat at the same table as Hanna for their wedding reception and had a lovely time, we became Facebook friends and were absolutely delighted when Hanna & her gorgeous Mum Dana made an appointment to come to FD HQ to talk about all things wedding, now that was way back in early 2016, we shared ideas and inspirations and we all began to get very excited.
~
We got together again over a year later to talk through Hanna & Adam's beautiful Mood Board and to learn how their plans had developed, they'd booked a whole host of our favourite wedding buddies and we were looking forward to working at the fabulous The Great Hall at Mains with Chriss, Mel, Kelly and the team, we'd be sharing the day with the lovely Katie & James from Fairclough Photography, Roland & Lisa from R T Productions & Wedding Films, Sonara Parker Make Up Artist, Twelve Event Management, Kelly from Kellycakes, Paul Guard wedding singer, Rollers Wedding Cars, the gown was from the Bridal Lounge in Poulton and we couldn't wait to hear the Poulton Peoples Choir and they didn't disappoint they were amazing!!!
