I was so excited all of those months ago when the lovely Domino & Pete brought in their beautiful Mood Board for us to discuss, I loved the Liberty Prints they'd chosen for the Bridesmaid's gowns and Groom's Men's Pocket Squares, all of them different but in the same Spring Blues, Purples, Lavenders, Lilacs, Greys and Green shades.
Domino's fabulous Mum Dodie would be making her gown and the Bridesmaid's gowns too, we knew they would be unique and rather special and couldn't wait to see them on the day, we weren't disappointed!. Their plans included a beautiful ceremony at the iconic Ashton Memorial in Williamson Park followed by a full and fabulous wedding reception at Bartle Hall, guests were being transported in a magnificent double decker bus and the bridal party were arriving in vintage Morris Minors from the great folks at Regent Classics, they'd booked a superb photography duo, Annie & Chris from Bloom Weddings (we've only seen a couple of their images on instagram which are simple exquisite, can't wait to see more!)
Domino & Pete's super duper Mood Board, a promise of a spectacular wedding day to come...
A few months later we got together with Domino and Pete again to make them a set of samples to see, we'd made Domino a relaxed long wedding bouquet, including a whole host of delightful Spring blooms, we paid particular attention to the Liberty prints they'd chosen and we'd had a little preview of Domino's gown and had picked out flowers to match the both prints and gown perfectly.
We created a suggestion for the Top table design (The table would be a round one)
A sample Boutonniere for Pete, all of the boutonnieres would be created differently but from the same overall palette of fresh flowers
A suggestion for the guests tables
At last the big day arrived and we tracked our Bride and her Bridesmaid's down to The Toll House in the centre of Lancaster where the team from 'Victoria Rachel' were busy making some gorgeous ladies even more beautiful. Jason and I presented our beautiful Bride with her glorious Bouquets...
A box full of floral gloriousness
The indomitable Bride's Mum's Corsage designed to compliment her ensemble and the bridal party
I showed everyone how to carry their bouquets perfectly
The lovely Domino taking in all of the beauty of her bouquuet
Jason & headed off to the spectacular Ashton Memorial, such a very special venue for a wedding celebration
The Spring Blossom was in full bloom and looked wonderful in the Spring sunshine
Inside this wonderful space the chairs were set out in the 'round' ensuring everyone had a perfect view of the action during the ceremony
We'd decorated the Registrars desk with a series of vessels filled with gorgeous spring flowers in hues of lilac, lavender, lilac, blue, purples and ivories
The circular aisle was dressed with posies of fresh flowers set on tree slices
I do love how the Sweet heart shaped flowers of the Dicentra look so exquisite in silhouette and fits so perfectly mirroring the shape of the Solomons Seal
Sweet Heart shaped Dicentra
Fresh Snowdrops in a tiny recycled bottle looked so perfect on the Registrars table

The Bride & Groom knitted by Domino's Nan were sat at the Registrars table
Bunches of dried Lavender dressed the backs of the chairs creating a heavenly fragrance throughout Ashton Memorial
I lined up all of the Boutonnieres and corsages ready to pin them on to the Groom and his party as soon as they arrived
The Bride Groom's rather special Boutonniere featured Lavender, Muscari, Rolled Rose Petals, Astrantia, Sweet Peas, Nigella, Eryngium and Larkspur florets bound with string jute.
Each boutonniere and corsage was hand crafted and made with delicacy and precision, we'd included in this corsage created for Dodie the Bride's Mum a fabulous collection of Lavender, Hyacinth, Bluebells, Daisies, Rosebuds 'Purple Symphony' Freesia, Eustoma, Thalaspi and Viburnum Opulus, a tapestry of beautiful seasonal texture.
I loved this elegant wrist corsage designed and made for Elaine the Groom's Mum an exquisite collection of miniature blooms in soft shades of blush pink and blue, we'd included Asrantia, Wax Flower Blossom, Rose Buds, Hyacinth Pips, Eryngium, Love in the Mist and Ivy leaves
The Gentlemen's Boutonnieres were smaller and simpler than the Groom's
Each Boutonniere was hand finished
The Blossom was out in full bloom all around the park
The views are truly spectacular, it feels as though you're on top of the world
Jason pinned on our Bride Groom Pete's Boutonniere
The Bride Groom's Boutonniere matched his pocket square perfectly
The super proud parents of the Groom Elaine & Chris
The Groom's Dad's Boutonniere
The Bride Groom's Mum's Wrist Corsage
We pinned the boutonnieres on to the lapels of the Groom's Men
Chris from Bloom Weddings was capturing all of the magic
The beautiful Bridesmaid's were next to arrive, their dresses looked perfect in the spring sunshine and their bouquets the most gorgeous accessory
We'd gathered together a heavenly collection of pale blue Delphiums, Larkspur, Love in the Mist, Anemones, Forget Me Nots, Roses, Astilbe and so much more besides in the Bridesmaids Bouquets
The most adorable little Page Boy with his lovely Mum
Super cute little Evie with her tiny nosegay
