The Seriously Spectacular Wedding of Beth & Laurence at St Cuthbert's Church & AKS Independent School Lytham

Be warned this is a huge posting, it's going to take a few minutes to scroll through a plethora of our snaps featuring some seriously spectacular and glorious flowers, some equally spectacularly beautiful people and some of the most spectacular venues on the Fylde, brace yourselves...
Firstly though let me share some of the back story with you, we first met up with Beth and her fabulous Mum Catherine a year or so ago, we all hit it off  immediately and I distinctly remember laughing all the way through that first meeting, we've had many meetings since, some were just Beth & I some were just Catherine & I and some with our Jason too, with mood boards to discuss,  sample bridal designs to see and just to go over some of the details, there really was a lot going on for this Wedding, inevitably after all of our chats we had a thorough understanding of their taste, their relaxed almost boho style, their love of flowers and the importance of family & friends.
~
We were looking forward to working alongside a stellar team of superb wedding professionals, all hand picked by Beth & Laurence, a team they knew would deliver the perfect day; Oscar Rowley & the team from Campbell & Rowley were looking after the catering and liaising with their spectacular and novel venue AKS where our couple first met, we had the huge pleasure of working with the lovely & brilliant Martin from Cahill Photography,  the fabulous Samantha Mercer & The Dollz Team who we knew would do the most wonderful job of the hair and make up, there was a gorgeous gown from the great folks Elizabeth & Camilla from Mears Ghyll Bridal Rooms and entertainment from the truly awesome The Dead Beats Party Band
~
At long last the big day arrived Lily & I were at the Bride's family home bright and early to present our bridal bouquets, we showed everyone how to carry their bouquets perfectly in our FD Events Bouquet tutorial we also introduce the Bride and her Bridesmaid's to the flowers in their bouquets explaining their particular significance and  preciousness!

These gorgeous bouquets included a heavenly and scented collection of English garden flowers, David Austin's finest Roses, Peonies, Lily of the Valley, Forget Me Nots, fresh Herbs, fragranced Stocks, Love in The Mist, Astilbe, Oak, Jasmine & Ivy trails

Each alternate Pew end lining the aisle was dressed with a posy of fresh Peonies, Roses, Hydrangeas, Astilbe, Love in the Mist and Daisies each posy was quite unique

In the porch area we'd lined up the boutonnieres ready to pin them on the Groom and his Groom's Men as they arrived

The celebrations moved on to the majestic surroundings of AKS

The team from Rowleys & Campbell were ready to greet the guests with fizz as they arrived from Church
Inside the magnificent assembly hall the scene was set for a wonderful wedding reception
The dining tables were decorated with a variety of table centrepieces to provide texture and interest to the huge room
Our tall and magnificent Flower Bombs were on the tallest column vases

Our classic design 'Baroque Candelabras' surrounded by a garland of fresh Peonies and Roses looked so romantic on some of the tables
The lowest table design in the room looked equally as magical as the larger ones, we'd arranged fresh flowers in a series of vases with tea light votives providing a flicker of candlelight

We just loved this wedding cake dressed simply and elegantly with a posy of three fresh Peonies

The Tall FD Flower Bombs looked spectacular created with a vast array of Peonies in various shades

The Top Table was dressed with a collection of column shaped glass vases each one filled with a single variety posy of fresh Peonies, Roses, Hydrangeas and Sweet Peas
