DoubleTree by Hilton wedding displays

Last year I attended the wedding fair of Doubletree by Hilton and was asked to provide flowers for their wedding ceremony and reception set up.
I worked in conjunction with Rachel at Event Exquisite Ltd with the colour schemes and style for each setting. (All the following chair covers are hers)

So the civil ceremony table was kept very simple with 4 small hurricane type vases filled with a single ivory rose and gyp. In between these I placed my small butterfly lanterns with tea lights and surrounding all of these was foliage vine trails to give a country style to the setting.

This look can be transferred to the top table afterwards

These floral chair covers were so pretty

The top table setting was along the coral and cream theme with a long and low display.

This had beautiful coral roses, cream carnations, roses and lots of lush country foliage

We decorated 4 round tables;
One had my stunning 100cm candelabras with the crystal chimney and pillar candles and foliage vine running along the arms and down the central stem

Along with 4 hanging ivory roses for a very simple yet stunning display.

Another followed the top table theme with a silver mercury urn filled with green/pink hydrangea, coral and cream roses and calla lily

Another had a large bird cage filled with lilac sweetness, cream roses, carnations and lots of lovely foliage.

Last but not least was a 60cm martini vase filled with lots of summery yellow flowers such as sunflowers, roses, chrysants and gyp. Trailing foliage and a wood slice add to the country style.

My stand at the fair with lots of loveliness to hire

One of which is my glorious large watering can which can be filled with flowers

and the lovely small crates, here, filled with summer flowers - hydrangea, roses, sweet peas and ammi.

If you are getting married at The Doubletree by Hilton or love any of these displays and want them for your day, do get in touch with your wedding date to discuss availability and to book a consultation.

All vases, crates etc can be hired both with or without flowers, so if you are looking to DIY your displays get in touch with what you need and quantities for a quote. Delivery and collection can be arranged for a small fee.

Hemswell Court seasonal Christmas wedding

The wedding of yesterday's post (here) was held at the fabulous Hemswell Court.
The venue was all ready decked out for Christmas and fortunately they had gone for a red and green theme, so all designs worked well together.

On the tables half were 60cm martini vases and the others were large hurricane vases.
The tall martini vases had an assortment of gerbera, roses, berries and amaryllis with lots of seasonal foliage. We were asked not to add too much over the vase and nothing trailing to keep the tables clean and free for the food to be served.

The large silver based hurricane vases had a large central candle surrounded by a layer of seasonal foliage, holly, spruce, ditto and red berries for a splash of colour.

The ceremony display was a long and low compact design of gerbera, roses and berries with mixed seasonal foliage and this would later be transferred across to the top table for the wedding breakfast.

This venue looks fabulous at any time of year, but the decorations they have at Christmas makes it truly magical.
If you are getting married here and would like to discuss your flowers or if you love gerbera and want to get together on how we can style them to your day please get in touch
to discuss availability in the first instance.

All vases were hired from us, we set up on the day and arrive to collect the next morning (where possible) so you don't have any worries on getting items back to us at The Studio

Fish bowls at Hirst Priory

The reception of Monday's blogpost wedding bouquets (here) at the lovely Hirst Priory
The bride already had the fish bowls and mirrors (although you can hire these from us) and provided the sand for the bases.
We were asked to provide 3 ivory roses to float in water with bear grass swirls around the bowl.

Hirst Priory table settings, still a few more details to be added.

The ceremony table was provided by the venue through us as we were bringing the table flowers. Hazel, the wedding planner, knows this is the best way for all designs to match up style and colour wise.

Ivory roses, green carnations, stallion chyrsants and gyp with mixed foliage.

If you are getting married at Hirst Priory and are looking for a florist, whether for simple designs like these or for larger, fuller designs we will be happy to talk through your plans. Please book a consultation today and start your flower journey with us.

Hemswell Court pastel pinks, peaches and ivory

Hemswell Court was the setting of this wedding ceremony and reception. A fabulous venue and possibly my closest one, always a pleasure to set up here. The whole place is lovely from the setting to all the staff, making it so easy for delivery on the day.

The registrars table was adorned with a long and low which would later be transferred to the top table. This was filled with a mix of garden, standard and spray roses, dahlias, gyp and mixed foliage.

At the entrance the couple had a variety of displays.
The guest table plan had a lovely display of roses and dahlias with trailing fern, jasmine and passiflora foliage.

The same type of display went on the step ladder display

and the lovely story board display.

The guest tables each had a large birdcage filled with gorgeous blooms as before.

The display was contained mostly within the cage but had a few strands escaping to add to the natural feel of the day.

A lot of the roses were scented and the room was soon filled with the most gorgeous scent to add another dimension to the day.

We also scattered fresh rose petals on each table

(The chairs are brought through from the ceremony while the photos are being taken)

We also provided two thank you hand ties to be presented at the speeches. We recommend this type as they are in water so keep fresh through the day but also saves the recipients having to condition them and find vases once home.

If you are getting married at Hemswell Court or other similar venue or just love the designs please get in touch to see if we are available to create your displays for your wedding.

We have just attended Hemswell Court's first (own set up) wedding fair and have styled flowers at this venue on many occasions.

Elsham Hall blue summer wedding ceremony and reception

Lucy and Robin had chosen Elsham Hall as their wedding ceremony and reception venue.
This is a lovely barn and each set up I have done here always looks unique, Elaine and her team always go above and beyond for each couple.
(To see the bridal party flowers click here)

The ceremony table was given variety of small jars of flowers which would later be transferred to the top table.

Framing the table were two traditional style pedestals with a fabulous mix of blue and ivory flowers, including the stunning hydrangeas.

The registrars desk was also given a selection of pretty jars.

These pedestals are on our metal stands (hired) and the display is designed within a dish for ease of transporting AND so they can be kept by the couple after the day is over.

Within the barn are these lovely radiator covers, what better way than to dot the mixed jam jars around your guests before moving them onto the tables as your centrepieces.

Make as much use out of your displays as possible and double up where you can.

These lovely jars were decorated by Lucy and filled by us with an array of summer loveliness. Blue hydrangea, thistle, gentiana, ivory roses, spray roses and dahlia.

They would later be grouped together and displayed on to the guest tables when the room has a turn around during the photos.

We also supplied thank you flowers for presentation during the speeches.

If you like any of these designs, are getting married at Elsham Hall or a similar barn space please get in touch to see how we can transform the space to your style and colours.

To see other set ups at Elsham Hall please click here and for more options go to the right side - labels - and scroll down to Venue: Elsham Hall

We would love to hear your plans for your day and how we can help you achieve hassle free planning for the flower part of the day.
