Blush Pink, Magenta & Deep Plum Shades for Hazel & Kevin's Magnificent Wedding at All Hallows Church Great Mitton & Mitton Hall
Just love this Mood Board, provided by the super lovely Hazel & Kevin, it included so many beautiful details that inspired our designs and helped us to understand their taste and their hopes and dreams for a perfect February wedding day. Hazel & Kevin had chosen to get married at the historic Church of All Hallows in Great Mitton before heading just down the lane to Mitton Hall for their celebrations, both beautiful countryside venues to dress with fresh flowers.
~
We had the huge pleasure of working alongside some fabulous wedding professionals Sonara Parker mua, Mairead from Wedlocks Bridal Hair and the lovely folks from Slice of Pie Photography and of course Lesley Anne and the team from Mitton Hall.
At Hazel & Kevin's sample appointment we created a beautiful wedding bouquet, Boutonnieres, table designs and seating plan for them to see.
A Gold Byzantine Candelabra dressed with Roses, Astrantia, Skimmia and dark burgundy Hydrangeas (It was decided to leave out the white Hydrangeas for the wedding day version)
One of our Enchanted Trees, a suggestion to use as a seating plan but to have less foliage on it for the big day.
In the sample wedding Bouquet we'd included some deep shaded 'Captain Romance', Astrantia 'Roma', Hellebores, Black Baccara, Sweet Avalanche, Amalia & Kate Roses, Ranuculus, Skimmia with French Ruscus.
A sample Boutonniere created for Kevin to see
A Boutonniere incorporating a Captain Romance Calla Lily, a burgundy Ranunculus, Astrantia and Rolled Rose Petals
On the big day Jason was at Mitton Hall bright and early to present the Bridal bouquets
In the actual wedding bouquet I had included a twist or two of contorted Hazel our Bride's name sake along with some fresh Jasmine that wasn't in the sample wedding bouquet as the season hadn't started then alongside the 'Captain Romance', Astrantia 'Roma', Hellebores, Black Baccara, Sweet Avalanche, Amalia & Kate Roses, Ranuculus, Skimmia with French Ruscus.
Jason headed off to All Hallow's Church to set up our flowers ready for the ceremony
One of our fresh floral hearts dressed the entrance along with some of our Lanterns which created a warm welcome for the guests as they arrived
Inside this beautiful old Church we'd decorated the Pew Ends with posies of fresh flowers and two of our candelabras framed the ceremony space at the head of the aisle
Our Byzantine Candelabras looked lovely dressed with Roses, Orchids, Black Pearl Germini and Ranuculus
Our Floral Heart was created from a collection of Orchids, Calla Lilies, Roses, Ranunculus, Lissianthus and fresh fragrant foliages
Jason lined up the Boutonnieres and corsages ready to pin them on the Groom and his party as they arrived at Church
The Bride Groom Kevin's Boutonniere featured a piece of Hazel and some Forget Me Nots along with fresh Kate Rose, Ranunculus, Skimmia, Astrantia Rosa and Rolled Petals, we'd bound the stem with gold bullion and attached a Mickey Mouse Pin
The Page Boy Nathan's Boutonniere was a miniature version of the Groom's Boutonniere and also included fresh Forget Me Nots, Rolled Roses Petals, Ranunculus, Astrantia and a 'Woody' pin
The very first to have his rather special boutonniere pinned on was Hazel's super handsome Bride Groom Kevin
The Bride Groom's seriously special Boutonniere incorporated some Hazel, Forget Me Nots, Roses and Ranunuculus
The beautiful Groom's Mum Sharon
Sharon's corsage included Blue Muscari, Hellebores, Forget me Nots, navy blue Steel berries and Eryngium
There were three Best Men all had unique Boutonnieres pinned to their lapels
The super glam Bride's Mum Julie
Julie's Corsage of Rolled Red Rose Petals, Blue Thistles and Berries and some Hellebores
The Bridesmaids and Bride's Mum looked beautiful
The Bridesmaid's Bouquets were created as smaller versions of the Bridal Bouquet, the soft pink of the Sweet Avalanche Roses and Hellebores complimented their gowns perfectly
