Stunning blue wedding set up at Cleatham Hall

A couple of weeks ago this wedding finally happened!! It has been booked for so long and it didn't disappoint.
O & S opted for lots of blue for their flowers and chose many designs from previous work, adding their own take to make them personal to their day.
The groom's buttonholes were a glorious blue mix of Iris, Nigella, Delphinium floret and hydrangea flowers with ivy foliage.

The rest of the groomsmen were basically the same design, as were the lovely chair decorations, see video.

New phone, new settings, thought I was taking photos during the video, but alas no.

The whole wedding was set at Cleatham Hall, one of my favourite venues and always a pleasure to set up at.
The top table was a lovely long and low design of gorgeous ivory roses, blue hydrangea, iris (being very stubborn and refusing to bloom) with purple eustoma and lots of foliage.

One of my favourite places to display flowers, Cleatham Hall's fireplace! Such a stunning setting on it's own but with a full mantlepiece display the WOW factor is off the scale.
Beautiful delphinium spikes, hydrangea balls, iris, Nigella, eustoma and ivory roses with gorgeous locally sourced foliage.

The guest tables were treated to two different types of display. The first, our large cream bird cages, sat on a flowery base of roses, hydrangea, nigella, iris and gyp with lots more foliage.

The second, our tall conical vases with a stunningly beautiful display of pale blue delphinium spikes, surrounded with gyp all sat on a base of variegated ivy.
The lovely orangery, here at the hall can certainly take the height and all in all a simple elegant design to match the decor.

They certainly took your breath away on entering the room.

Cleatham Hall also has these beautiful alcoves on the stairwell and it always seems a shame not to decorate them. All guests staying the night or getting ready here will walk down past these

and what a sight to behold on the way to say your vows.

Elsham Hall blue summer wedding ceremony and reception

Lucy and Robin had chosen Elsham Hall as their wedding ceremony and reception venue.
This is a lovely barn and each set up I have done here always looks unique, Elaine and her team always go above and beyond for each couple.
(To see the bridal party flowers click here)

The ceremony table was given variety of small jars of flowers which would later be transferred to the top table.

Framing the table were two traditional style pedestals with a fabulous mix of blue and ivory flowers, including the stunning hydrangeas.

The registrars desk was also given a selection of pretty jars.

These pedestals are on our metal stands (hired) and the display is designed within a dish for ease of transporting AND so they can be kept by the couple after the day is over.

Within the barn are these lovely radiator covers, what better way than to dot the mixed jam jars around your guests before moving them onto the tables as your centrepieces.

Make as much use out of your displays as possible and double up where you can.

These lovely jars were decorated by Lucy and filled by us with an array of summer loveliness. Blue hydrangea, thistle, gentiana, ivory roses, spray roses and dahlia.

They would later be grouped together and displayed on to the guest tables when the room has a turn around during the photos.

We also supplied thank you flowers for presentation during the speeches.

Blue and Ivory wedding party flowers

Lucy came to me through a recommendation from Elaine at Bride Beautiful at Elsham Hall.
She wanted lots of fresh flowers included in her wedding day both for the bridal party and for the reception.

The colour scheme was blue and ivory and on seeing a previous design I had created fell in love with the design. We changed some flowers and added in some extras to keep it unique to Lucy, blue hydrangea, thistle, gentiana, ivory roses, spray roses, seeded and blue eucalyptus.
The stems were bound with ivory satin ribbon.

The five bridesmaids each carried a similar style bouquet with blue hydrangea and ivory roses, spray roses and white thistle and eucalyptus.

The groomsmen all wore a buttonhole of and ivory rose, thistle head and hydrangea floret.

The ladies wore a corsage of ivory flowers, rose, spray rose, white thistle and eustoma.

All our buttonholes are delivered pinned to a board and can be labelled if required.

The bride and two of the maids bouquets.

Bouquets are generally laid in a box for delivery onto a layer of packaging and layers of acid free tissue paper.

The 5 bridesmaids also wore a flower crown of white spray roses and hydrangea florets.

This was a fantastic wedding to play a small part in and tomorrow will be Part 2 with the ceremony and reception at Elsham Hall.
