A beautiful blue, pink and white summer wedding

These gorgeous wedding flowers are from Laura's wedding who married in June. A lovely mix of summer blooms in blue, pink and white.
The bridal bouquet was a mix of delphiniums, nigella, pink roses, white eustoma, chrysants and a few stems of Lily of the Valley nestled in amongst the main blooms. The foliage is Thalaspi and tree fern. The outline was messy and style nothing too formed or placed.

Beautiful summer mix of flowers

The four bridesmaids carried a similar style bouquet with pink roses, nigella, eustoma and chrysants and foliage.

All stems had ivory satin ribbon bound around them.

The flower girl posy was a smaller  version of above. She was so cute on delivery wanting to show everyone her flowers.

All bouquets together.

The groom and best man wore matching buttonholes of eustoma, lily of the valley, chrysant flower and delphinium florets with thalaspi foliage.

Stems had ivory ribbon detail

The cute page boy wore a single eustoma flower with buds and sprig thalaspi. This is mounted on a small safety pin.

The rest of the groomsmen wore a buttonhole of white eustoma and thalspi.

The ladies all had a traditional corsage of a pale pink rose, eustoma, lily of the valley and gyp

All our buttonholes are presented to the bridal party of a board, all having pins.

The bouquets are delivered in a box with lots of cushioning and wrapping to protect the blooms.

These are packed last for delivery, kept in water right up to the last minute, ensuring freshness for their job ahead.

Purple Calla lily wedding flowers

I loved this wedding, the purple calla lily are just stunning.
Marianne brought in a photo of a bouquet she had seen online and asked if I could recreate as close as possible. The bouquet was full of calla's, large leaves behind and bear grass with pearls threaded through the flowers.

We agreed on the colour of the calla's and left the foliage to me.

These callas had a natural bend in the stem and they naturally trailed to give a shower type shape.

The one bridesmaid had a smaller overarm bouquet with a more rigid shape to the design.

The two flower girls carried a posy of 3 calla lily, loops of bear grass and a few small dark leaves.

All stems were bound with ivory satin ribbon.

The groomsmen wore a single calla lily with loops of aspidistra and beargrass

The other special guests wore a single ivory rose with bear grass loops and dark small leaves.

All buttonholes had matching ivory ribbon.

Buttonholes ready to be presented to the bridal party.

I was honoured to be asked to provide these wedding flowers and was very happy to be given a hug by the bride on delivery and her comment of 'They are much better than I had hoped for' really does make the stress of trying to recreate a design more than worthwhile.

If you love calla lily and would love these designs for your wedding or just love the different style please get in touch to book a consultation today.

Blush, pink and ivory wedding flower mix for summer

A fabulous wedding in blush, pink and ivory, such a glorious mix of flowers!
Congratulations to J & L it was a joy to be part of your day.

All the bridal flowers were a combination of roses, astrantia, eustoma, spray roses, wax flower and gyp with cineraria and eucalyptus foliage.
The bride's bouquet was filled with a scrumptious mix of these summer blooms and foliage.

The stems were bound with blush ribbon held with pearl headed pins.

There were 2 adult bridesmaids who carried a smaller version of the bridal bouquet

a smaller version for the teenager

and a cute small posy for the flower girl.

Using the same flower mix throughout really brings all the different elements of your ladies look together.

The groomsmen all wore a simple single rose and gyp buttonhole, some had blush and some ivory, each had ivory shoelace ribbon part bound around the stems.
A tip for you lady's: If you want to split designs do let me know beforehand as that list won't be at hand on the day (however organised you are!) and others may not know (remember!!) your intentions.

and the ivory ones.

and packed for delivery and presentation to the bride.

This really was a beautiful colour scheme for a summer wedding, my photos don't do them justice.
If you love this style and would love to have similar for your own day then do get in touch to discuss how to progress and start the process.

Other colour combinations can also be achieved with similar flowers so don't despair if you don't have blush/pink as your colour scheme. Again get in touch and let us advise how we can best achieve your dream flowers in your colours.

I look forward to hearing from you soon
