Henley-on-Thames

A couple of weeks ago, we found this interesting list of day trips from London while trying to drum up some reviews to help us prioritise our weekend adventures (we are getting better and better at making the most of Friday-Sunday trips and Saturday only day trips)

There is an ever-growing list of places we want to see and things we want to do.
It will never reach zero, ever. But we're

My FAVOURITE guy's birthday

Celebrating my love with a tour of some of our favourite things in London!

He is the most handsome, absolute sweetheart who makes me laugh 'til I cry and wonder what I ever did without him. He's just the best, even when he scowls at all my picture-taking...

We went to Greenwich Market SPECIFICALLY for these churros so the boat ride that got us there was just a means to an end. But here are

A few of my most frequented spots.

Depending on which way I decide to walk home, I go through Westminster Square...

Or I meander past Buckingham Palace and wave to the Queen.

When I hang around, waiting to meet the husband...

Or take the long way to church in South Kensington...

Winter Wonderland 2015!

Winter Wonderland 2015!

Taylor has been talking to anyone who would listen about Winter Wonderland since we went last Christmas.

And it's definitely bigger and better than last year!

It's free to get in and open from 10-10 but we definitely went at a good time. 2pm on a Saturday and stayed until 5:30 when the masses really started rolling in.

We made a beeline direct to our favourite ride from last year. WILDE
Taking in the London View

Taking in the London View

We moved into a new flat a few months back. The major highlight for me (besides massive amounts of light which is a MUST for me) is the view from the balcony!

I snap a picture nearly every day because there some really stunning moments right outside our window. Rainbows after the rain, sunsets, sunrises, and foggy days!

The big tower that is seen in most of the pictures is the BT Tower.
Cambridge MBA Experience day

The future is a fickle thing. It can be exciting, terrifying and as hard to see as the trees are through this fog...

(taken from the train from London Kings Cross headed north to Cambridge, UK)

While we figure out where we go from here, we get to investigate the options.

This day of adventure took us to Cambridge University!

Weekends are so special. At this time of our lives, it means we get to soak up 48 hours of being together.

We attended the London England LDS Temple. It is about 30 miles from the City of London.

For people who don't have a car, the public transport from the City to the Temple consists of either hiring a small bus with a bunch of other people or taking the train and a cab or a series of

144th British Open - St Andrews, Fife, Scotland

Once upon a time, I married a man who loves golf. I cared very little for it before I met him and have slowly acquired minimal knowledge (still close to none really) about the sport. But I love this man so much that I would try my best to make his dreams come true if I can.

He wanted to see the 144th British Open.

SOOooo we rented a car and drove across the country (8 hours) to get to St

I am catching up, slowly but surely. I will be throwing these posts up whenever I feel like they are done even if it's out of chronological order (which is what has held me back) and it'll all sort itself out. Here goes!

My sweet husband likes surprises. Because of how incredible he is at planning and executing a heart-warming surprise, I have decided to try and be more like him in that
Winter Wonderland 2014

Winter Wonderland 2014

Winter Wonderland in Hyde Park occurs annually from November to the beginning of January. One amazing, lovely thing about not being in America is that there is nothing holding back the acceptable time to break out the Christmas stuff. Reigning it in until after Thanksgiving weekend doesn't exist. It was hard to miss once the rides were set up. The usually dark park transformed for a couple of
