On a cold and blustery November day we decorated this fabulous church in the next village to me, All Saint's at Ingham.

The wedding colour scheme was burgundy with hints of autumnal colours and white.

On the gate posts to welcome the guests were hung some seeded eucalyptus, cotinus, gyp and a few roses, tied on (tightly) with a pretty burgundy bow.

In the entrance is the font (a very small church) and on this we added a long and low type arrangement with roses, amaranths, gyp and carnations and mixed seasonal foliage.

The bride knew she wanted gyp on the pew ends but nothing too large as the aisle isn't very wide. We teamed this with seeded eucalyptus and tied on with burgundy satin ribbon.

At the altar stood a traditional style pedestal with burnt orange roses and gladioli, burgundy roses, amaranths, carnations and mixed seasonal foliage.

At the High altar stood another pedestal of the same flowers.

The rest of the flowers were created by a family member, we are happy to take on all or some of your flowers to suit you. It is your day and we will not insist on being the only supplier, although do be careful if you want all displays to match as everyone creates items differently and some colours are described differently.

Debra and Matt held their wedding ceremony at the beautiful St Andrew's Church in Kirton In Lindsey, Lincolnshire.

This is a modern church, having taken away the pews and replaced with chairs, meaning they can hold other more social events within the church itself.

When I first went to have a look around, the entire church was in upheaval having the floor replaced, a slight concern for all involved but as promised it was all done for the wedding.

This is quite a large church and so it was decided to have 3 pedestals. 2 for the altar and one for the entrance to greet guests on arrival.

The pedestals continued the pink and ivory colour scheme. Debra had specified using lilies within the larger designs and these were teamed with pink alstroemeria, ivory roses, salmon chrysants and gyp.

The 'pew' ends were salmon pink lily with eucalyptus tied on the chairs with an ivory bow.

We alternated down the aisle with flowers and bows on alternate rows.

Dressing the church can be as full or as simple as you like. I know many couples who prefer not to spend money on designs here as you are not in there long BUT it is the main part of the day - This is where you say your vows - so a few select designs are appropriate. 

All these designs were taken back to the venue for display at the wedding breakfast. Using them at both parts of the day can help with your budget and you get to keep (or give away to guests) after the day is over. Make use of all designs as much as possible.

When setting up at church I am happy to contact the warden and arrange direct with them times etc saving you a job and making it as stress free as possible. Flowers are set up on the wedding morning where possible so flowers are as fresh as possible for the service.

Claire and her groom were married at All Saints Church at Branston.

This was the first time we have decorated this church and what a lovely space it is. So light and airy and although still having many traditional church features it felt very modern inside.

We placed two traditional style pedestals at the altar with a mix of flowers from the bridal bouquet, roses, gyp and eucalyptus along with eustoma, carnations and stallion chrsants and other mixed foliage.

Some of these flowers and foliage are scented which adds another dimension to the displays.

Still incorporating the ivory and blush colour scheme,

The stands were ours, hired, we have them in white too should you wish.

For ease of moving to the venue the display is in a self contained dish which sits in the pedestal. This also means that the displays can be kept/given as gifts after the day has ended and we can collect our stands.

The pew ends were lovely small white wicker heats, which the bride provided along with the gorgeous satin ribbon for hanging. We added on a blush pink and ivory rose with lace ribbon and hung them on alternative pews.

We also provided a lovely long and low display for the entrance but the vicar locked the door before I remembered to take a photo!! This was also transferred to the wedding breakfast for the top table display.

We can decorate any church but please ask the vicar/warden before speaking to us as some churches prefer the ladies to provide the flowers. The earlier you mention you are speaking to a florist and keep them informed the easier the whole process is for all.
