Jackie & David's Intimate Family Wedding Day at The Grand Hotel St Annes

This was a lovely family wedding, a huge pleasure to be asked to create the flowers for such a flower loving family, the Bride's Mum the lovely Jean is an avid and very experienced flower arranger and the family like nothing better than to sit around their kitchen table and get creative with flowers, so when they came to see me they had a plethora of wonderful ideas (and great taste in flowers by the way!!!). So a plan was made the FD Events team would make all of the Bridal Bouquets, Boutonnieres, Corsages, Registrars and Top Table designs and Jackie, Jean, Becky, Katie & Emily would make the table centrepieces (which were beautiful) using our splendid flowers that we'd ordered in especially for them from a list prepared by Jean and to compliment those flowers we'd used in the bridal bouquets, I do love it when a plan comes together.
~
Our Vicky was the lucky FD Florist making the presentation of the Bridal Bouquets at the family home in St Annes
Vicky showed Becky & Jackie how to carry their bouquets beautifully
The colours were rich and warm to co-ordinate with our Brides Topaz Gold gown  from Dessy and the Bridesmaid's navy blue gowns
Vicky headed off to The Grand Hotel in St Annes the venue for the ceremony and reception, she lined up all of the boutonnieres in the Lytham Suite ready to pin them on to the Groom and his party as they arrived
The beautiful Registrars table design looked perfect on the 'half moon' table in the St Annes Suite
David, Jackie's handsome Bride Groom was first to have his rather special boutonniere pinned to his lapel, which featured Roses, Thistles, Berries and Foliage to compliment both his Bride's Bouquet and his own suit and tie
The super glam Bride's Mum the lovely Jean complete with her elegant Corsage designed to match her daughter's bouquet and her navy blue ensemble
A Collection of miniature Rose Buds, Berries, Rolled Petals and Thistles were combined to create an elegant seasonal corsage

The beautiful Bridesmaid's were wearing different gowns in navy blue, they carried posy shaped bouquets of Roses, Leucadendron, Proteas, Herbs, Thistles and Berries in rich warm tones from deep burgundy reds, golds to nude buff shades with just a hint of navy blue.
Our gorgeous bride Jackie , looked utterly fabulous, she carried an elaborate cascading bouquets of magnificent textured blooms including Proteas, Roses, Astilbe, Leucadendron, Nutons, Thistles, Berries and Ericas.

Beautiful Bouquets of Proteas, Roses, Astilbe, Leucadendron, Nutons, Thistles, Berries and Ericas

Deep Purple Winter Wedding Day For Jessica & Andrew at Bartle Hall

We just love winter weddings here at Flower Design Events, we have a plethora of wonderful seasonal materials to work with, we have some of the very best winter wedding venues to dress, one of our favourites is the fabulous Bartle Hall, Jessica & Andrew had chosen this fabulous Lancashire Manor house in the heart of the North West for their ceremony and reception.
~
We loved Jessica and Andrew's beautiful mood board, it really helped to inspire a fabulous collection of sample bridal designs
I loved the sample Bridal Bouquet we created for Jessica, we'd used a collection of Roses in a soft romantic palette of deep purples, mauves, silver grey and lilac shades, we included Fir cones, berries, thistles, Eucalyptus berries and Albiflora, grasses, Hydrangeas & Lissianthus

We'd made a sample Boutonniere for Andrew that matched the bridal bouquet perfectly

A Sample Baroque Candelabra dressed with a plethora of fresh flowers and trailing foliages
We made suggestions for low table designs too
Finally the big day arrived and we presented the Bridal Bouquets
We showed the lovely Jessica how to carry her bouquet perfectly

In the Windsor Suite the scene was set for the ceremony, we'd lined the aisle with our fabulous glass column hurricane lamps and fresh fragrant rose petals
Our Baroque Candelabras were placed on pedestals just behind the Registrars table and provided the perfect backdrop for the ceremony
Clusters of fresh flowers, floating candles and fir cones dressed the Registrars table

The Fireplace was dressed with a series of fresh Christmas Trees and candlelit lanterns
Jessica's Bride Groom Andrew was first to have his rather special Boutonniere pinned to his lapel
We'd used a Memory Lane and a Purple Symphony Rose with Berries and a small Fir Cone in the Bride Groom's Boutonniere

Our Corsages are all made to match the outfits of the ladies we're creating them for

The seating plan was set up on one of our wintery Enchanted Trees

Martin the manager at Bartle Hall was doing a great job as usual
Jessica looked breathtakingly beautiful as she descended the stairs at Bartle Hall on the arm of her super proud Dad

The Bridesmaid's carried bouquets were created as smaller versions of the Bride's Bouquet

Huge Congratulations to Jessica & Andrew from all of the team here at Flower Design Events

The Windsor Suite had been transformed and looked absolutely magical
The Tables were dressed with a combination of our tall elegant Baroque Candelabras dressed with fresh flowers and foliages and low table posies surrounded by candles
The top table was dressed with a series of posies in either glass or wooden vases with floating candles in between and a fir cones

Huge thanks to Jessica and Andrew for choosing Flower Design Events to create their wedding flowers for them
