Summer Fashion Trends 2016 ¦ Boohoo

This month I have become seriously addicted to the fashion trends; not that I have the money to buy Summer's finest pieces but I've been scouring the internet for cheaper alternatives to the designer attire I lust. However, I was more than happy to see Boohoo had a beautiful range of Summer clothing, which I will certainly be spending some money - a girl has just got to treat themselves during exam season!

White is really in fashion SS16 and I'm loving the ruffled and lace detailing a lot of blouses, tees and crops have. They look incredibly feminine and can make an outfit look classy, despite the simple block colour. White and navy are also a must-have colour combo at this time of year - love a bit of nautical imagery, especially when I'm not going anywhere near boats on a pretty tropical island this year. Vibrant colours and crazy patterns should definitely be worn when the sun is glowing its uttermost brightest - I love light material dresses/skirts with qwerky designs to lounge around in or wear at casual/social occasions. Also, I'm a huge fan of heeled sandals - I need to get my hands on a pair before I cry...these brown suede ones are to die for and the mirrored heel gives the shoe such a dimensional touch. Black and white is always a colour scheme that works well in the summer, ready to enhance your summer tan and glow. I love these elephant print shorts with the adorable white pom pom tassles hanging loose - total festival vibes! Finally, rucksacks and shoulder bags are essential during Summer - you don't want to carry around heavy items in the heat so it's always best to pack your necessities into a rucksack. The shoulder bag has a gorgeous embossed design which makes the accessory ideal for evening wear, accompanying a stunning white dress or playsuit.

ASOS Spring Fashion Wishlist

After Christmas and recent birthdays, it is safe so say my bank account officially hates me. Therefore, all I can currently do is look at clothing websites and lust after the beautiful new spring collections, glancing at gorgeous shoes, pretty dresses and my favourite - sunglasses!

I decided to put together a want list in 3 sections : clothing, shoes and accessories, to let you know what I'm waiting to get my hands on over the next couple of months. ASOS had such a good range of Spring attire so I've incorporated products from both highend and affordable brands.

Lacoste Black Sneakers | Cloggs

Fortunately, this month I've been able to team up with Cloggs on a collaboration to showcase their wonderful collection of shoes - especially these gorgeous Lacoste Sneakers. 

CLOGGS - home of footwear - offer an incredible range of shoes, both for men and women, including boots, slippers, trainers, wellies, sandals and more. It gets better, not only do they sell a wide collection of comfortable footwear, they also market branded shoes; eg. UGG Australia, Converse, Hunters Wellies and obviously Lacoste. 


I was luckily gifted this beautiful pair of everyday black/white Lacoste sneakers to review and share my honest opinion on. These trainers are super comfortable, similar to Converse, but with an added luxurious touch - the interior is soooo soft. I love how simplistic the overall look of the shoes are; a monochrome pair of sneakers to match almost any outfit. 

Personally, I think they shoes would look perfect in some ripped jeans, a slogan tee and a leather jacket - chic but casual. The exterior of the shoes are extremely durable - there is an added strength compared to average trainers which informs me that these will last for a lengthy period. I cannot wait to start pairing these beauties with some outfits for a future post. 


If you're looking for some fancy new shoes, I would totally recommend checking out CLOGGS - they offer quality shoes with ridiculous reductions, whilst holding constant sales/discounts. Don't miss out an bargain!

Online Avenue's Suede Stilettos

What girl doesn't like strutting into a party with mega high stiletto heels (well, unless you're me and occasionally feel like a 7 foot giant)?

Today's post revolves around Online Avenue's insanely high, black suede, golden ankle-strapped heels - aren't they just gorgeous?! I was in awe when I received these and wondered why I didn't own anything like this in my shoe collection.



These stunning high heels can make any girl's dreams come true - I was in heaven when I tried these on and looked in the mirror to see my legs appear longer. I have such short and stumpy legs so this was a huge bonus for me; the 'lengthening' of my legs also made them appear slimmer, another thing that satisfied my needs. Also, something I find with pointed-toe heels is that they can squish your feet but these feel super comfortable at the front and are completely squish-free! My favourite aspect is the golden, metallic strap that hugs at your ankle - personally, I find these a lovely additional touch to a shoe and can really complete an outfit.

One thing I would definitely recommend is to purchase your shoes one size larger than your normal size; my feet were insanely squished in the first pair I bought so I had to return and get the next one up. The delivery and exchange was insanely swift with no time wasting - I had these beauties back in my hand in no time!


I will most certainly be getting the Red and White pair of these retro styled shoes. My other favourite pair of shoes from Online Avenue's trainer collection would have to be their Elyse Lace Up Mesh Running Shoes; the black and turquoise look incredible together and would be amazing for a cheap pair of gym trainers at £14.99.

10 Valentine's Day Gifts for Him

Today's post is brought to you by an empathetic young girl in a long-term relationship who struggles to buy my boyfriend presents on Valentines, Birthdays and Christmas. I find it so difficult finding gifts to buy for each occasion, so I thought I would help you guys out this year and hopefully aid you as much as possible. 

Overall, I've pieced together a 'top 10' guide of some generic and some more unique ideas; hopefully featuring a variety of things that will suit your boyfriends/male friends this Valentines day.

Westfield Shopping Haul

Over the weekend, my boyfriend and his family took a trip to London for a shopping day at Westfield Stratford. I hadn't been shopping in while so ended up splashing my money on a few things, alongside raking in some of the best January sales.



MAC Blush - Melba

A soft peach blush which I was in great need of. I really wanted a natural blush shade for everyday use and the subtle coral tones make this perfect for the upcoming spring season.


Forever 21 - Striped Top

A basic, but staple, wardrobe piece which I was unfortunately at loss of; thus, I picked one up on my shopping journey as I thought it would be a perfect addition to my sixth form wardrobe.


American Eagle Outfitters - Red Suede Boots

Just by looking into the shop windows, I knew the items were right up my street. After taking a quick stroll around the gorgeous clothing pieces, I caught my eye on these set of Heeled Suede Red boots. There was a huge sale on this pair - I got them for £12 from £30!!! Just my luck, they were also in my size, with only two pairs left on the shelf.

Parmar ShoeCare - Black Knee High Boots

An absolute fashion craze at the minute is shirt dresses with a pair of beautiful knee high boots. I am in love with this current trend and decided to pick myself a cheap pair (£20) up just incase they didn't quite suit me.


VS underwear, CK underwear, Topshop Underwear

As I hadn't been shopping in a while, I decided to treat myself to some pretty new underwear. Some may think I went a bit too overboard considering I bought some from three different places but a girl has gotta treat herself every once in a while, right?!


Swarovski Vittore White Ring

My boyfriend's mum was so so lovely and bought me this stunning white, Vittore ring from Swarovski; I cannot stop staring at the embellished sparkling chatons circling the entire ring. I was so grateful and extremely lucky to be surrounded by such loving, generous people.


Tiger (Random Purchases)

I came across this shop called Tiger, of which I had never seen/heard of before in my life. Being drawn to the pretty pastel colours in the window, I had to enter and pick up the most random bunch of items ever. I bought a 2kg weight to help with my fitness (one of my new years resolutions), a notepad because you cant have enough, a little silver bucket to put cute little things in and some cotton buds. Such a weird combination - I know...

For Christmas this year, I was very lucky to receive some beautiful gifts from my friends, family and boyfriend; I'm always grateful for everything I am gifted and would like to let you all know that this post is in no way bragging. Annually, I've come to notice that my Birthday and Christmas present posts are ones that many enjoy and like to read so based on those statistics, I'm hoping you would like to see some of the presents I got for Xmas 2015.

Paperchase Owl and Floral Notebooks

This year I found out that I'm obsessed with list writing and being organised so what else would be the perfect present for me than these notebooks from my favourite stationery shop - PAPERCHASE!

After opening all my goodies on Christmas Day, I was overwhelmed to have received so many gorgeous, luxurious and well-thought-out gifts. I'm so lucky to have friends and family who think to buy me such amazing things and it was so fun purchasing my gifts for them back as a huge thank you for being there for me throughout 2015 (CRINGE)! 

Oh...I almost forgot! I purposely avoided uploading any images of new clothing because I'd like to feature them in some upcoming posts as we go into the new year :-) Also, I have the infamous Ikea Malm Dressing table to store my makeup in/on now - wooo organisation at last!!

My First Two Piece | Luxemme Fashion

 As always, I was absolutely flattered to be contacted by the team at Luxemme to collaborate with them and their wonderful fashion products. This upcoming fashion brand claims to have items ranging from Parisienne Chic to Manchester Cool and I couldn't agree more.


On browsing the Luxemme website, selecting my desired two piece and receiving my confirmation email, the delivery came in two days - INSANE! I was completely stunned at how quickly the delivery was and the professional packaging the product was neatly wrapped up in. Luxemme offer a variety of clothes for affordable prices, something that anyone wants to hear when shopping, eh? My favourite section of their online shop must be the limited edition range; an area of their site which they change monthly according to celebs and other bloggers wearing their products. 




After a lengthy and tough decision, I opted for a gorgeous white two piece -  the Olivie Lace Trim Two Piece. The slim fit style and lace detailing are right up my street; I couldn't wait to get my hands on this sophisticated, elegant outfit. Personally, I'd wear this ensemble when going out for a meal, as it indeed 'epitomises class', just like they state on the website. Also, having brunette hair is another reason I chose this limited edition two piece; the contrasting in colours aesthetically satisfies me because I'm a strange human being that gets excited by the smallest of things...



On wearing my stylish new two piece, I noticed how much the material clung to my body in all the right places. It honestly made me look so much skinnier, tucked in my tummy fat and enhanced my not-so-visible curves. This was a wonderful surprise as I wasn't expecting it to improve my body confidence alongside helping me to look stylish and refined. Another fabulous trait of the Luxemme clothing is that the material is strong and of high quality.  This instantly made me trust the brand and believed they strived to achieve phenomenal quality when manufacturing their items.

Overall, I've been astounded by the co-ordinate that Luxemme have let me show off to you all and will not hasten to add that I most definitely will be purchasing more items from their site. They not only sell other wonderful two pieces beside this, they also offer a range of clothing from casual to classy. The other night I stepped out of my comfort zone and wore this daring lilac lipstick to a school presentation; I was overly excited to find that it matched my Boohoo Lilac Skirt perfectly. This outfit I feel would not only suit special occasions but either a summer daytime or evening outfit on holiday. 
Shoes | Flower Crown | Sunglasses
To create a more daytime based outfit, I would first tone down the shoes - colour coordinated flip flops could be brought onto the scene to make the look more beach/daytime appropriate. You may also like to add a floral crown or a pair of sunglasses to further add to the look and make it more girly.

Shoes | Necklace | Ring

Alternatively, you could amp up the outfit by pairing the attire with a gorgeous pair of lilac high heels, for those wanting to wear this on an evening out. Lilac statement necklaces and rings would give a further push to create the perfect night wear based ensemble.
