Poachers Country Hotel wedding reception

J & L held their lovely summer wedding reception at the glorious Poachers Country Hotel.

Another new venue for us! And what a gorgeous place it is. So well looked after and dressed inside with excellent staff which always helps with delivery and set up.

The top table had a lovely long and low design, filled with summer loveliness. The same flower mix as the bridal bouquets (here). Astrantia, roses, spray roses, wax flower and gyp.

Such gorgeous colours and flowers.

The guest tables were split, high and lows. The lows were these magnificent mercury vases with a gorgeous display of flowers as per the top table.

These were placed on mirrors and really sparkled in the light, tea lights would be lit later in the evening creating an awesome atmosphere.

The high designs were our stunning crystal gem candelabras. These were dressed with a gyp, wax flower and eucalyptus garland.

These truly make a stunning statement and add that WOW factor to your tables.

The bride and grooms view from the top table. The venue provide vases for the bouquets to sit in to add to your decorations.

The wonderful cake by Cherry Blossom Cakes, surrounded by real flowers by us. The gorgeous blush roses herein beautiful bud vases with blush ribbon detail.

The stunning set up at The Poachers Country Hotel all dressed and ready to welcome the new Mr and Mrs.

This is the wonderful testimonial left for us by the very happy bride.

Sandra was professional from the first consultation we had for our wedding flowers. She took the ideas we had and our budget (very important for any bride to be) and created the most amazing arrangements. There is nothing like planning a wedding and sourcing good quality suppliers for your wedding is something most people only do once so going off good recommendation was on the top of our list, Sandra did not disappoint.
Sandra delivered mine and the bridesmaids bouquets at the reception on the morning of our wedding and from that moment I knew she had got my vision. The smell as she walked into the room with that big box was amazing.
The reception room was transformed by her creations, a change in height to the table arrangements added interest to a long room and again the smell of the fresh beautiful flowers was amazing.
So many compliments from all the guests and mums, nans, bridesmaids and ourselfs have enjoyed having the arrangements in our homes for days after.
So Sandra thank you for making our vision come alive I could not recommenced you enough to any other bride to be!

Are you getting married at this venue? Love this style and colouring? Please get in contact with us and let us create equally stunning designs for your wedding day.

We look forward to hearing from you very soon

Wedding at DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Lincoln

This gorgeous rose and gyp wedding was held in the Cathedral suite at The DoubleTree by Hilton Lincoln.

The registrars table was decorated with jars of gyp and roes and gyp. The bride decorated the jars herself. These were to be placed along the top table for the reception and as there were a few spare we placed 3 on the other officiants table too.

This was the final setting after the lovely Rachel from Eventexquisite ltd had worked her magic.

We also provided large martini vases filled with these scrummy roses and gyp. These were for the guest tables but I am of the opinion if you can use a display for both parts of your day then you should! The venue brought in these lovely glass tables from the bar and we had 2 either side to elongate the aisle for the bride to walk down.

They were filled with ivory avalanche and a dusky pink rose, gyp and lots of lovely foliage.
These displays are self contained and can be given away to guests at the end of the day.
The vases are hired through us and collected next day so you don't have to worry about a thing.

These look wonderful on these tables, so happy with the way this looked.

We set up before the whole room was dressed as we had an extremely early start.

The look the bride would get as she starts the walk towards her groom.

A short video of the set up

As there were still another couple of vases we placed these in the bar area on coffee tables, the guests would walk through here ion their way to the cathedral suite.

Rachel from Eventexquisite ltd very kindly has let me share these finished set up photos with you.

In this type of room these chair covers and sashes really do transform the whole look and style

The reception was held in the same room and on turn around this is the finished product.

Top table all dressed with sashes by event exquisite ltd and flowers by us.

The guest tables with the martini vases. This room has a high ceiling and really needs some tall designs to fill some of the void. They do draw your eye through the venue too and a little touch of colour works it's magic.

Are you getting married at The DoubleTree Hilton Lincoln? Would you like to see how we can transform this room to your colours and style? We are also happy to liase with Rachel to perfect your look should you wish to work with the both of us.

Or are you getting wed elsewhere and love these designs? We can fill these martini vases with flowers to suit your style or differing colour roses. We set up on the day and collect all next day, meaning you have one less thing to sort out after the day is over.

Wedding flowers at The Mount Pleasant Hotel Bawtry

This is the fabulous reception set up of A and O at The Mount Pleasant Hotel at Bawtry.
The displays alternated between high, candelabras, and low, pumpkin vases.

Our candelabras are 100cm tall and theses were displayed with long taper candles.
The display was a flower ball between the arms allowing for 5 candles and the gorgeous flowers used were roses and carnations in both pale pink and champagne with mixed foliage.

They were sat on large round mirrors.

The low displays were a couple of silver pumpkin vases with pink roses and carnations with champagne roses and wax flower.
These make really cute table centrepieces for your guests.

The top table had a long and low design

filled with scrumptious flowers as the bride's bouquet (here) such as roses, wax flower, spray roses and eustoma.

Unfortunately we arrived at the same time as the lovely ladies from the chair cover company and didn't get to see the room completely dressed.

Thank you hand ties were also provided for presentation during the speeches.

If anyone has any doubts about the way we transport flowers to the venues I took these shots on loading the van up for this wedding.
I may get odd looks from having such a large van BUT on occasions such as this wedding it is so easy to load, transport and unload with flowers in order of need.

Church flowers at the front, bridal designs next with buttonholes and reception flowers at the rear and plenty of room left for a larger set up.

On this occasion I had a helper and after the whole set up was complete we stopped off for a coffee and gingerbread man, a small treat after a busy morning.

If you are getting married at The Mount Pleasant Hotel or love any of the designs above do get in touch to see how we can transform your venue with flowers.

All the candelabras and vases were hired from us and part of our care and service is to collect all of these items the next day, working with the hotel, so you don't have to worry. All sorted, generally, before breakfast.

I look forward to hearing from you

DoubleTree by Hilton wedding displays

Last year I attended the wedding fair of Doubletree by Hilton and was asked to provide flowers for their wedding ceremony and reception set up.
I worked in conjunction with Rachel at Event Exquisite Ltd with the colour schemes and style for each setting. (All the following chair covers are hers)

So the civil ceremony table was kept very simple with 4 small hurricane type vases filled with a single ivory rose and gyp. In between these I placed my small butterfly lanterns with tea lights and surrounding all of these was foliage vine trails to give a country style to the setting.

This look can be transferred to the top table afterwards

These floral chair covers were so pretty

The top table setting was along the coral and cream theme with a long and low display.

This had beautiful coral roses, cream carnations, roses and lots of lush country foliage

We decorated 4 round tables;
One had my stunning 100cm candelabras with the crystal chimney and pillar candles and foliage vine running along the arms and down the central stem

Along with 4 hanging ivory roses for a very simple yet stunning display.

Another followed the top table theme with a silver mercury urn filled with green/pink hydrangea, coral and cream roses and calla lily

Another had a large bird cage filled with lilac sweetness, cream roses, carnations and lots of lovely foliage.

Last but not least was a 60cm martini vase filled with lots of summery yellow flowers such as sunflowers, roses, chrysants and gyp. Trailing foliage and a wood slice add to the country style.

My stand at the fair with lots of loveliness to hire

One of which is my glorious large watering can which can be filled with flowers

and the lovely small crates, here, filled with summer flowers - hydrangea, roses, sweet peas and ammi.

If you are getting married at The Doubletree by Hilton or love any of these displays and want them for your day, do get in touch with your wedding date to discuss availability and to book a consultation.

All vases, crates etc can be hired both with or without flowers, so if you are looking to DIY your displays get in touch with what you need and quantities for a quote. Delivery and collection can be arranged for a small fee.
