Backless Wedding Dresses 2016 | CocoMelody

Today I have teamed up with the people at CocoMelody to showcase their beautiful 'Backless Wedding Dresses' of 2016. I am overly obsessed with wedding dresses and how they can complement different peoples figures/desires so I would like you to share my favourite dresses from their collection.

                                                                           Dress 1

My favourite of all CocoMelody's Backless Wedding Dresses 2016 has to be this stunning sleeveless ivory laced number; the deep back-cut makes the dress look eloquent, yet modern, whilst on the body, making design extremely pleasing to look at. The intricate laced details add such a gentle touch to the outfit - I would be more than happy if I could pull off this absolutely gorgeous backless wedding dress.

Dress 2

This one is a more classic, vintage wedding look - beautifully laced upper body detail with a soft satin finish waist downwards. The underneath of the dress creates a large flowing dress, accentuating the waist and chest; I personally think this makes your upper body look particularly slim, something most girls would look for when dress viewing. Finally, the subtle mauve ribbon tied into a bow adds that ultimate elegance to the overall look.

Just to tickle everyone's fancy, I decided to include this beautiful short wedding dress, also with a lovely backless detail. Many shorter girls opt for shorter wedding dresses because they believe, and are usually advised, that they best suit their figures/height. I know if I was a lot smaller (I WISH!!) I would totally rock up to my wedding in this pretty a-line gown covered in thousands of tiny flowers and glimmering gems. This just gives me a Disney princess vibe and who wouldn't want to feel like royalty on their wedding day, eh?!

Those of you who are loving this Backless Wedding Dress collection should definitely check out their other dresses, alongside CocoMelody's current sale - don't miss out on a great bargain!

Wedding Dresses 2016 | ROSA NOVIAS

WOOHOO! We've entered 2016 and I'm so excited for the year ahead of me. I know a lot of people, like myself, hoping for this year to be filled with happiness, optimism, (weight loss) and for their wishes to come true. So...when Rosa Novias contacted me to write a post about their gorgeous wedding dresses/site I was in! How could I miss an opportunity where I'm able to ramble about dresses I hope to be wearing/trying on in the future?!

Gentle Lace Zipper Floor-length Sweetheart Empire Bridal Gown

This beautiful gown, and the last one I'll be talking about, are 2 of my dream wedding dresses. The style of them is so flattering; it enhances your chest, hugs your curves and flows into a gorgeous white pool at the floor. I'm a huge fan of the lace detailing at the top of the dress; I think it creates that extra class/elegance to the outfit. IN LOOOOVE!!!

Another lace-trimmed number, but this time with a vintage edge to it - the classic white wedding has been altered to a warm, soft beige to form that older, vintage look. The minimal embroided jewels and intricate lace detailing help to express the this vintage take of a wedding and I really love how this looks and shapes the models figure.

Charming Hand Made Flowers Bateau Neck Cap Sleeve A-line Tulle Wedding Dress

A chic, floral gown with chiffon fabric trailing into a small tail at the floor surface. This depicts a super girly dress - the way the white flowers are scattered provide a feminine essence to the outfit. I know so many people who would love to wear this girly dress for their wedding day.

A-Line Short Sleeve Bateau Appliqued Lace Mini Wedding Dresses

For those into shorter wedding dresses (I know a few shorter females feel that shorter dresses look best on them), here's one for you. This short-sleeved, lacey number would be perfect for myself because I'd want my shoulders hidden. Also, I adore the mini scalloped hem at the bottom of the dress because it is so unique to the standard-styled wedding dresses. Finally, how could I not mention the cute bow at the back of the dress? Adorable.

Another one for those who prefer the shorter dresses, this is cute, sweet girly dress that again, hugs at your waist to give off that skinnier look (something we all want eh?). Moreover, I love the contrast in the beautifully laced sleeves to the chiffon flowing material that hangs lightly above the knees. A contrast in material can seriously look stunning when worn with the right accessories to embrace it.

Finally, I have my ultimate dress of the post - a glamorous, royal outfit involving intense lace embroidery and gorgeous little gems. This model completely works this gown, making it look stunning on her figure, expressing the ever-so classy look and pairing the outfit with appropriate jewelled earrings to match the dress. I'm in utter awe at this dress and it has quickly become my dream wedding gown.

Not only do Rosa Novias sell online's most beautiful wedding dresses, they offer outfits for other prestigious occasions, like Prom, Bridesmaid and Evening Dresses. Don't forget to check out what they have in store because I can guarantee you will fall head over heels for a gorgeous dress. Treat yourselves or keep it in mind for your special day!

Lots of love

My First Two Piece | Luxemme Fashion

As always, I was absolutely flattered to be contacted by the team at Luxemme to collaborate with them and their wonderful fashion products. This upcoming fashion brand claims to have items ranging from Parisienne Chic to Manchester Cool and I couldn't agree more.

On browsing the Luxemme website, selecting my desired two piece and receiving my confirmation email, the delivery came in two days - INSANE! I was completely stunned at how quickly the delivery was and the professional packaging the product was neatly wrapped up in. Luxemme offer a variety of clothes for affordable prices, something that anyone wants to hear when shopping, eh? My favourite section of their online shop must be the limited edition range; an area of their site which they change monthly according to celebs and other bloggers wearing their products.

After a lengthy and tough decision, I opted for a gorgeous white two piece -  the Olivie Lace Trim Two Piece. The slim fit style and lace detailing are right up my street; I couldn't wait to get my hands on this sophisticated, elegant outfit. Personally, I'd wear this ensemble when going out for a meal, as it indeed 'epitomises class', just like they state on the website. Also, having brunette hair is another reason I chose this limited edition two piece; the contrasting in colours aesthetically satisfies me because I'm a strange human being that gets excited by the smallest of things...

On wearing my stylish new two piece, I noticed how much the material clung to my body in all the right places. It honestly made me look so much skinnier, tucked in my tummy fat and enhanced my not-so-visible curves. This was a wonderful surprise as I wasn't expecting it to improve my body confidence alongside helping me to look stylish and refined. Another fabulous trait of the Luxemme clothing is that the material is strong and of high quality.  This instantly made me trust the brand and believed they strived to achieve phenomenal quality when manufacturing their items.

Overall, I've been astounded by the co-ordinate that Luxemme have let me show off to you all and will not hasten to add that I most definitely will be purchasing more items from their site. They not only sell other wonderful two pieces beside this, they also offer a range of clothing from casual to classy. Below is a collage of items I've added to my own personal Luxemme wishlist - click the product names underneath the photo to be navigated there!

Royal Outfit Grab Bag of the Day: June 26

In which we explore some totally unrelated Things About Which I Have Thoughts for the week:

Queen Máxima attended a conference, June 22
See, when you overdo it with the accent color, you lose the delight of an accent color in the first place.

Princess Marie-Chantal of Greece (with the Marquess of Douro) at the Ralph Lauren & Vogue Wimbledon Party, June 22
M-C's got it down. The unexpected pink of the purse is the whole point.

Princess Beatrix at a sailing event, June 20
Visor Alert: Queen Princess Beatrix helms her own ship (De Groene Draeck, the Green Dragon) and her bouffant bends for no occasion.

Queen Rania hosted women for iftar at Raghadan Palace, June 21
Oh, this Roksanda Ilincic frock is such a perfect dress-to-wearer match. I appreciate an Ilincic done simply even more after that recent Ascot episode.

Crown Princess Mary (with her plus one, Fred) attended the Reumert Awards honoring the Danish performing arts, June 21. Click here for a gallery.
I saw some clips of this show. I got the impression it wouldn't have made much more sense even if I did speak Danish, which I don't. But that makes it a great occasion for this outfit, which is a long dress with a long kimono on top (from Rabens Saloner).
It's the perfect outfit for swanning about one's lanai all day, before heading out for an evening of baffling theater. I'd take the whole ensemble home, no problem. And I'm not just saying that because I need those Portuguese gold filigree earrings in my life rightthissecond.

Big Royal Hats of the Week: June 23

Big Royal Hats of the Week: June 23

Ascot doesn't have a monopoly on the big hats, you know.

The Duchess of Cornwall took time out from Ascot to toss a mop on her head and head out with the Prince of Wales to continue the work they started in Belgium, leading the royal party at a St. Paul's Cathedral service to commemorate the bicentenary of the Battle of Waterloo. (Cams is wearing her Four Strand Pearl Choker with Small Diamond Clasp and a badge from the Rifles, by the way.)

A big group of royals and other dignitaries gathered in Belgium to do the same, including the Grand Duke and Grand Duchess of Luxembourg, the King and Queen of the Belgians, the King and Queen of the Netherlands, and the Duke of Kent.
'Twas a standard appearance for two of the Ms - Maria Teresa and Máxima, though I am a little concerned that Máx had an altercation with a road line painter on the way to Belgium - and a gorgeous appearance for their royal hostess.
This is the second time in a week I've looked at Mathilde and thought nothing more than she looks goooood. So let's keep that up.

I like to imagine that Queen Máxima realized she missed an opportunity for a big hat there, because she returned home and promptly donned this monster, to open the Design Derby Netherlands:
It takes a lot to overshadow a chapeau like this, but my attention was diverted by what I genuinely thought might be a lobster slung 'round her neck. (She would wear one too, you know she would.)
Honestly, I'm a little disappointed to find out that wasn't the case.

Royal Gathering of the Day: June 18

Royal Gathering of the Day: June 18

Various royals were among the dignitaries gathered in Belgium yesterday for a part of the events marking the 200th anniversary of the Battle of Waterloo, a day that included a stop to meet with the King and Queen of the Belgians for some of them. The photos from the meeting are titled in part, "King Philippe and Queen Mathilde Receive Warlord Descendants," and you know something, I really think we don't do enough talking about warlords around here.
You can scroll over the photo for the line up of said warlord descendants, but what I'm concerned with is Mathilde's white dress. How excellent is this?! I'll always love a great white dress, but the little splash of embellishment on one side is really doing me in. A daywear highlight for her for the year so far.

Our friends the Hereditary Grand Duke and Grand Duchess of Luxembourg were there too. This is not the best angle on Stéphanie's suit, but she's got a little purple going on, and she's trying.
The tall one in this photo is the Prince Napoléon (go figure).

Charles and Camilla traveled to Belgium as well, attending the reopening of Hougoumont Farm. They also visited the site of the battle with the current Duke and Duchess of Wellington (here's a video).
That's Princess Astrid of Belgium, King Philippe's sister, rocking the fedora and colored shoes. Her outfit may have had more personality, but Cams was class personified in - believe it or not - Christian Dior Couture, with a Philip Treacy hat.
She took an official tour of the French atelier when she made a solo working visit to Paris in 2013, and she's popped up in a couple of couture Dior outfits since then. This cream coat was specially made for her trip to the D-Day commemorations last year in France, and it's no mistake that she chose it for a trip to Belgium - Dior designer Raf Simons is Belgian. She paired it with a triple strand of pearls from the Queen Mother and a badge representing the regiment of her late father, a World War II veteran.

A good day for cream outfits all around, I'd say.
