The A/W15 Coat Edit

Coat by Missoni from Luisa World
Coat season has returned and I'm absolutely loving it! There is nothing I love more than picking out my A/W wardrobe each year, foraging for a new definitive coat that I will wear to DEATH over the entire season. What has made it extra special this year is that I've discovered FarFetch, an online site that holds beautiful designer clothing, which has inspired me to dedicate a post lusting over 3 of their 6 DEFINITIVE COATS OF A/W15. Oh, how I wish I could afford them...

1. The English Lady ~ Brush up on your manners this season, as AW15 heralds the return of the frightfully proper English heritage coat. Savile Row mainstays such as Prince of Wales check, nubby tweed and houndstooth look modern again, especially when worn with off-kilter accessories and your favourite granny handbag.

I am in awe at this sophisticated wardrobe piece; it gives off a truly vintage vibe which everyone is loving this year! The intricately designed patterns would incorporate a dramatic statement to a monochromal dress/outfit, knee-length heeled boots and vibrant handbag to add some extra fun to the look.

Coat by Balmain from Splash by the Beach
2. The Great White ~ Nothing makes you look expensive like winter whites - and not just because of the dry-cleaning bills. Shades like oyster, cream and purest snow white lift winter complexions and add freshness to your look. The hot AW15 update? Block it with separates in luxurious tones of oxblood and cyclamen pink.

Another trend I want to be involved with this year is the alluring white wraps everyone is wearing out and about. White is the colour to be worn in these winter months, helping to enhance those rosy cheeks and pale complexions. My personal favourite factor of white coats are that they contrast my dark locks, making my natural features one of my statements during Winter.

Coat by Derek Lam from Derek Lam

3. The Leather Trench ~ The Seventies favourite is back for 2015, fortified with a sex bomb colour palette – opt for Derek Lam’s cherry red for maximum hot-blooded appeal, and wear skin-on-skin style until winter’s bite brings out the goosebumps.

Finally, we have one of the most definitive coats I'd ever wear - I certainly wouldn't be able to pull this leather trench off but I know a lot of people who could. The vibrancy of the red is bold and striking; something you want to be wearing in the unevitable aridity of November/December. Outwear like this should totally be paired with a hot red-orange lipstick - I vote NARS Mysterious Red Velvet Matte Lip Pencil will do just the trick!

Don't forget to check out the other three coats you could be rocking this season by clicking HERE.

My First Two Piece | Luxemme Fashion

As always, I was absolutely flattered to be contacted by the team at Luxemme to collaborate with them and their wonderful fashion products. This upcoming fashion brand claims to have items ranging from Parisienne Chic to Manchester Cool and I couldn't agree more.

On browsing the Luxemme website, selecting my desired two piece and receiving my confirmation email, the delivery came in two days - INSANE! I was completely stunned at how quickly the delivery was and the professional packaging the product was neatly wrapped up in. Luxemme offer a variety of clothes for affordable prices, something that anyone wants to hear when shopping, eh? My favourite section of their online shop must be the limited edition range; an area of their site which they change monthly according to celebs and other bloggers wearing their products.

After a lengthy and tough decision, I opted for a gorgeous white two piece -  the Olivie Lace Trim Two Piece. The slim fit style and lace detailing are right up my street; I couldn't wait to get my hands on this sophisticated, elegant outfit. Personally, I'd wear this ensemble when going out for a meal, as it indeed 'epitomises class', just like they state on the website. Also, having brunette hair is another reason I chose this limited edition two piece; the contrasting in colours aesthetically satisfies me because I'm a strange human being that gets excited by the smallest of things...

On wearing my stylish new two piece, I noticed how much the material clung to my body in all the right places. It honestly made me look so much skinnier, tucked in my tummy fat and enhanced my not-so-visible curves. This was a wonderful surprise as I wasn't expecting it to improve my body confidence alongside helping me to look stylish and refined. Another fabulous trait of the Luxemme clothing is that the material is strong and of high quality.  This instantly made me trust the brand and believed they strived to achieve phenomenal quality when manufacturing their items.

Overall, I've been astounded by the co-ordinate that Luxemme have let me show off to you all and will not hasten to add that I most definitely will be purchasing more items from their site. They not only sell other wonderful two pieces beside this, they also offer a range of clothing from casual to classy. Below is a collage of items I've added to my own personal Luxemme wishlist - click the product names underneath the photo to be navigated there!

Spring/Summer Evening Look

Clothes:

Top ~ Select (£2.99)
Skirt ~ Boohoo (£10.00)
Shoes ~ Newlook (£11.99)
Hairband ~ Primark (£1.99)

Since the weather has been ridiculously beautiful recently, I decided to purchase some new 'summery' skirts (this number above being one of them!) I absolutely love this gorgeous daisy pattern and think it would look perfect on an evening out. This small white crop top makes this outfit even more summery, paired with a jewelled floral hair band.

Makeup:

Foundation ~ Bourjois 123 Perfect Foundation
Concealer ~ E.L.F Conceal Palette
Blush ~ Urban Decay Naked Flush Palette in Streak
Bronzer ~ Estee Lauder Bronze Goddess
Eyebrows ~ Rimmel Brow pencil in Dark Brown
Eyeshadow ~ Naked 2 Basics Palette
Eyeliner ~ Collection 2000 Fast Stroke
Mascara ~ Revlon Lash Potion
Lipstick ~ Maybelline Colour Drama Velvet Pencil in Berry Much

What is an evening look without a dark red lip? Maybelline's drama velvet lip pencils are affordable, long wearing and highly pigmented, not to mention their stunning colour range. I definitely need to buy some more of these - but this colour is most definitely the one for this look. The soft, sultry brown eyes are also uber pretty, especially with the thin feline flick. I decided to intensely contour; I love a good ol' bronzed glow in the summer, it makes my skin look super healthy and radiant.

What would you wear on a summer evening night out? Are you brave enough to wear a dark lip?

Love you all,

A/W Must-Haves

Hello everyone :-)

Today I thought I'd update you with a little less beauty inspired post. I wanted to talk about my favourite time of year - AUTUMN/WINTER! I can't wait to show you all the things I love about Autumn through a few pictures I've gathered together... enjoy!

Beauty

Who can say no to red lips in the colder seasons? I certainly can't! Mac Rebel has been a staple in my Autumn/Winter  makeup routine, along with Mac's gorgeous Cranberry shadow; pairing these together can just give the prettiest seasonal look. I also cannot get over how gorgeous Bourjois' Jasper Rose blush looks when applied to the apples of your cheeks. It just gives your cheeks a natural, rosy flush that instantly brightens up your face. This is also a great dupe for Benefit's slightly pricey Rockateur, which I also adore dearly.

Cool-toned nail polishes are a must-have in the A/W period; Barry M are a sucker for an amazing nail polish range so I would highly recommend checking them out. Their price range is very low too, which is an ultimate plus! Personally, I recommend checking out (from left to right) Cappuccino, Raspberry, Indigo and Black - not the most imaginative of names, but nonetheless, these colours are gorgeous.

Finally, what doesn't say Winter in the beauty world without a bit of bath bomb love? I cannot wait to go into Lush this week and have a naughty splurge on all the Halloween and Christmas themed products. I will not be able to help myself and may have to get dragged out of their by my boyfriend..
Anyway, I luuurve Candy Mountain form LUSH and always make sure to keep a spare throughout the whole year until Christmas comes again. I like to keep my bath products on a Cake Stand that I bought from Wilko for £9.99.

Fashion

Throughout the colder months, I tend to layer every outfit with a scarf and matching hat. My favourite combination are my grey scarf (Next) and grey hat (New Look) - the neutral colours make it so easy to pair with almost any outfit! The material is also super thick, which helps to keep me warm as well as 'fashionable' and cosy.

Next, is my undeniable love for tartan pajama bottoms. I am OBSESSED. The patterns are just so beautiful and the red/green/gold colours match perfectly with Christmas. In winter, especially December, I alternate between these bad boys and my collection of onesies.

Finally, on the fashion-front, I love to layer a collared shirt with a jumper. You can tell I've joined the layering bandwagon in the fashion world and I am totally loving this style. I think it just makes your outfits so much more interesting and cute at the same time! I am wearing a mint green, short sleeved mint shirt with a cropped Hollister white jumper.

Miscellaneous

From Summer to Autumn, my costa order changes from a mango & passion fruit cooler, to a large hot chocolate with heaps of cream and a few marshmallows. Hot drinks are such a must for me in the Winter, as I get cold so easily. I may be a bit naughty too and buy a Belgian Chocolate brownie - if you haven't tried one..DO IT, they are honestly heavenly.

Christmas candles and Autumn leaves. I don't even need to talk about Yankees, because everyone always raves about them whether it is summer, spring, winter or autumn. However, I prefer to burn candles in the Winter, maybe because it is colder? I don't know, it just doesn't feel right in Summer. I also love the sound of leaves crunching beneath my feet, like most people do at this time of year. Who else cannot wait for the snow too?

This post has got me super excited for a lot of events coming up in the next few months. Halloween being first, I have a fancy dress party coming up and I'm going as Snow White, being the Disney fanatic I am. I will most likely document the night on here shortly after the 31st and will update you on my makeup if you would like to know. I'm really looking forward to Bonfire Night, Christmas and New Years; this year has gone way too fast but bring on 2015!

What are your Autumn/Winter Must-Haves? Have you got anything planned for Halloween? What are your favourite type of posts to read?

Love you all <3

What I got for my 16th birthday...

On the 4th of September, I turned 16. It seems so crazy how time has flown by and another birthday has passed. I'm here to show you the gifts I received from all the amazing people in my life - my family, friends and boyfriend. I am so grateful and pleased with all my gifts,(*disclaimer*) however I haven't made this to show off or brag in anyway, I just like reading these kind of posts so I thought some of you might do too!

Makeup

Simple Kind To Skin+ Illuminating Radiance Cream
I've been wanting this ever since I used my best friend Megan's - it is amazing. It is a white moisturizing cream that gives your skin the perfect radiant glow. I have been mixing it with my foundation or putting it on before applying my base and you can honestly see it glowing through and illuminating your whole face. Beautiful product - totally recommend it!

L'Oreal Paris Lumi Magique Concealer/Highlighting Pen in Light
I've only used this once since I've been gifted this, but it is wonderful. I have a problem with my horrific, dark under eye circles so I usually turn to higlighting concealers to brighten my under eye. This was a dream to use the other day as it completely got rid of the blackness and I would say it a great drugstore dupe to the Yves Saint Laurent Touche Eclat Concealer.

Bourjois Blusher in 95 Jasper Rose
I am very pleased to own this beautiful rose gold blush. VelvetGh0st on youtube (aka Gabby) went on about this blush frequently a while back and I have been lusting it ever since. She described is as a similar drugstore dupe to Benefit's Rockateur Blush. Recently, I purchased the Benefit one and it is my all time favourite blush colour and blush in general! Therefore, I wanted to have a drugstore dupe of it so I didn't constantly have to use the Benefit one. It was such a nice surprise that my best friend got me this, as she obviously listened to me go on about this a while back - she is so sweet! :)

Benefit Creaseless Cream Shadow in RSVP
To begin with, Benefit packaging is my favourite, it just has to be; it has girly-girl written all over it! Thank you again to my best friend for listening to me... I have wanted this for a while, ever since I went to a party and borrowed this shade off of another friend. I used it as a base with Naked 2's YDK on the top of it and it looks stunning honestly. So happy to have this beautiful champagne-y pink added to my very loved cream shadow collection.

L'Oreal Paris Color Riche Quad in E4 Marron Glace
What a beautiful neutral palette. I am very aware that this will become a staple in my daily routine as it has four gorgeous wearable shades. A white champagne, taupe, soft brown and chocolate brown all in a sleek golden compact - what more could you want? IN LOVE.

Benefit They're Real! Mascara
It is so crazy how I now own a full size of this lash defining mascara. My friend Jess, who I have mentioned before (helloitsjessxx.blogspot.co.uk), kindly brought me this whilst on holiday. It is really sweet how she picked this up for me. I have only used miniature samples of this product but it has done wonders for my lashes - both in defining and lengthening them. I highly recommend this mascara as it is my favourite, along with the Revlon Lash Potion, which I will be featuring in a soon to be post.

Well, basically I wore this yesterday and I already have claimed it to be my favourite lipstick. I have fallen in love with this sexy deep nude colour at the minute and my best friend, once again, bought me this little gem. Despite this being a matte formula, it is no way at all drying on the lips. The colour is truly pigmented and it reminds me of something Kylie Jenner would wear. This lipstick has been on my wishlist ever since Sammi from BeautyCrush mentioned it in a video. She looks beautiful with it on and proves it looks good on many different skintones.

L'Oreal Paris Color Riche Liquid Lipstick in 601 Nude Ballet
This has been quite a recent lust but I fell in love with the colour, packaging and name all at once so..yes, that kind of popped onto my wishlist recently. It is so creamy on the lips and it is such a beautiful subtle lipgloss that I find I will be wearing a lot, especially at school. I have a feeling this would look lovely paired with my new Mac lipstick above! (Comment if you agree)

Avon Nail Art Nail Foils and Avon Glamour Palette Set
Lastly, on the makeup front, I was given a couple of things from Avon. On the left of the photo, there are three cute sets of the nail foils that you stick onto your nails. I am really happy with the pretty colours and patterns on them. My Nan and Grandad were also super cute and bought me this huge blush, lip and eyeshadow palette called Glamour from Avon too.

Fragrance

Valentina Valentino Eau De Parfum
My wonderful boyfriend bought me this beautiful perfume for my birthday. It has been a scent that I have been in love with for ages and am so glad to finally have it. I'm awful at describing scents so look online if you want to know more details about this beauty! I've been wearing this everyday since and it just smells so so so feminine.

Jewellry

I received this classy gift from my cousin; she picked it out for me, particularly because I love chunky/big necklaces. I adore how perfect this looked when paired with the outfit I wore on my birthday (photo will be at the end of this post). I can't wait to be wearing this on many nights out!

Others

How beautiful are these flowers my boyfriend got me? This was so sweet of him to do this and I am so unbelievably grateful. At the minute, they are perched in a clear vase in my room, looking as pretty as ever. Aidan and his mum went to a florist to get them professionally displayed and they asked for something 'pink, girly and youthful', which I thought was adorable because it basically describes me in three words.

Finally, I received a lot of other little bits from family and friends. I got some of the self-heating face masks, which I feel really make a difference to my skin. I also got some novelty gifts that have the number '16' on (mini snow globe/ornament and mug). I wasn't able to photograph everything because I had quite a lot of little bits and bobs.

Another present that I didn't mention earlier on was that my boyfriend's mum kindly gave me a gift voucher to get gel nails and them infilled; this was so generous of them and I cannot wait to go and get them done. Any recommendations/opinions on gel nails?

I am super grateful for every single present everyone got me and I love you all! I can't wait to be spending my boots vouchers and money on lots of makeup and clothes hehe....
