These beautiful images have been provided by my good friend the very lovely and talented James Jebson of James Jebson Photography they celebrate an entirely different, a completely romantic wintery night time version of the Marquee at The Inn at Whitewell.
~
It's always an absolute joy to work over at The Inn at Whitewell, Emma & Andrea head up a great team looking after the weddings there, creating a relaxed and 'posh country' style atmosphere, serving delicious home cooked local food in the best of surroundings possible.
The Inn is set in the heart of the Trough of Bowland right next door to the most simple and lovely little Church of St Michael (Here's a link to weddings we've done at St Michael's there's 45) in probably the most spectacular landscape in the North of England and I for one love it here!!!
~
We've been lucky enough to be working at this truly authentic and atmospheric venue for over 25 years (Here's a link to more weddings at Whitewell there's 80), I love it in the Spring when the Blossom is out and a proliferation of Daffodils and Spring flowers water colour the surrounding countryside and in the Summer when all of the leaves are on the trees and the hedgerows are full to bursting with life, in the Autumn the landscape colours are just so enchanting, everywhere you look texture and vibrance provide a feast for your eyes, but in the Winter it's an entirely different vibe, cosy, romantic and atmospheric....
We used an eclectic collection of styles to dress the tables for their annual open day, hoping to provide something for everyone all be it with a winter undertone
Our magnificent Enchanted Tree helps to create a magical forest feel perfect for the setting.
We do love little details our Enchanted Tree included a Birds Nest hidden amongst the branches
Fairy Swings and Washing lines provide humour and interest for the guests sitting at the tables
Our Baroque style Bird Cage surrounded by a more vintage collection of vessels, tea cups and saucers, Romantic poetry books is an example of our completely unique style that can be themed very specifically for each wedding.
Posies of fresh Spring Tulips, Anemones and Ranunculus
The chair dressings and table covers were provided by Creative Cover Hire
Our luscious Baroque Candelabras dressed in fresh flowers to compliment the bridal colour scheme, these are brilliant to use as Church Pedestals first, framing the ceremony so romantically
Our 'Old Curiosities' Table design in rich vibrant colour, utilising a random collection of vessels and curiosities all filled with or dressed with fresh flowers
A celebration of Spring spectacularly tall Peach Blossom, Ranunculus, Tulips, Hyacinth, Broom and Gypsophilia arranged in our straight sided Column vases
Tall Crystal table stand topped with a relaxed and gentle design, this is another design that perfectly translates to being used for the ceremony
A much more rustic design using tree slices and pieces of bark with Succulents and recycled glass bottles and jars filled with fresh Iris, Hyacinth, Paper Whites and lovely Spring flowers
Along their unique oval top table we'd created a 'Magical Flower Fairy' design
