Today we look at colour. Most brides will pick a main colour and then one or two accent colours but you can go rainbow or no particular colour scheme, but it does help you to have a focused colour. This will usually be the colour your bridesmaids are wearing. This, along with your dress, will determine the colour and style (along with your venue) of your whole day.
We start this series of posts off with the colour Purple.
A very popular colour a few years ago, it is slightly out of favour at the minute but a favourite of mine and a lovely palette of colour to blend.
With your colouring, you don't have to stick rigid to one shade, indeed flowers always look better if a range of shades are included as long as the tones match. So with purple you have lilac, lavender, violet, mauve and plum.
So to the flowers;
Amnesia roses are a dusky/dirty lilac colour and these are with ivory roses and gyp
One of the true purple flowers eustoma. This bouquet has a mix of purple, violet, two tone and white eustoma with grasses.
