Branston Hall Wedding flowers

Continuing our look at local venues, today we feature Branston Hall. We have set up here many times over the years, unfortunately photos have got lost in time, and we haven't been back as regularly as we would like. A fabulous venue with different set ups for the size of your day.
A few of the more recent set up we have styled.
The ceremony table placed in the centre of the back wall with the lovely mirror behind will be the focus of proceedings. A gorgeous long and low design in your style and wedding colours makes the perfect addition to your vows.

Fram that with our lovely bay trees, dressed to match your colours, whatever colour you choose.

The view on signing the register.

Bay trees make perfect additions to the entrance or start of the aisle

For you guest tables, the ceiling isn't particularly high and we have more often than not created low designs for these tables.

Beautiful striking fishbowls of blue flowers and a candle for lighting as the day turns to the after party.

Gorgeous country crates can be filled with all sorts of prettiness.

Keep it simple with gibers in a short lily vase

or add to an oversized fishbowl for a dramatic design.

Small flower balls on lily vases add height to the tables without being over powered in the room.

We have many more suggestions for your ceremony or reception set up and would love the chance to talk you through the options.
If you are getting married here or any similar venue please get in touch to discuss starting your flowery journey with us.

Autumn inspired wedding bouquets

As the weather has taken an autumnal turn, I thought we would continue our look at seasonal bouquets. You can see spring flowers here and summer bouquets here.
Lots of flowers are available all year but these ideas are to give you inspiration for each season.

This gorgeous teardrop bouquet would be perfect for an autumn wedding, beautiful lilies, mango calla lily, roses and seasonal berries. The colours were to go with a gold styled wedding, perfect for autumn.

If you love roses, this small posy of dusky lilac and ivory roses with gold carnations, gyp and foliage imperfect for the relaxed country bride or her maids.

A more vibrant wedding could have a mix of seasonal anemone, mostly available in jewel colours.

This bouquet I made for an autumn wedding fair and it received lots of attention. Coral and ivory roses with peach carnations, calla lily and dusky hydrangea.

Our most popular bouquet is perfect for autumn roses, brunia, seeded eucalyptus, senecio and this time with added thistle.

Maybe you want seasonal colours too. These bouquets were from a late autumn wedding and were stunning against the wine coloured dresses.
Large overarm bridal bouquet with dahlia, lily, orchids, roses and loads and lots of scented eucalyptus.

The bridesmaids carried posies of calla lily, roses, thistle, dahlia and eucalyptus.

Another vibrant wedding of cerise and orange gerbera with red spray roses

or roses and gerbera and lots of grasses, ting ting and corn for an autumn country wedding.

Callas come in many gorgeous colours and are stunning in autumn. From dark purple flowers teamed with white ostrich feathers and silver ting ting for a glitzy day

to dark purple, and two toned flowers with foliage for a more relaxed day.

Are you a foliage lover like me? These bouquets were for a styled shoot and the brief was foliage with a hint of colour.
I loved this day, the setting was stunning and the whole set up was my kind of day.
A bridal bouquet of lashing of eucalyptus, with a few amaranthus, and roses. Makes a lovely swishing sound when you walk and the movement means the scent really comes out of the foliage, win win!!

A rose lover? Roses come in hundreds of shades, these are some of the gorgeous autumnal ones. Bright coral, coral and cream all look stunning together, but there are so many more.

An autumn come winter style, roses, cyclamen (highly scented) and thistles for a blue themed day.

Or perhaps you love gerbera? Again lots of colour choice, and many two toned varieties now available.

Another favourite bouquet of mine, lots of foliage with seasonal coloured gerbera and berries.

Back to call lily, Mango callas with feathers and dark foliage loops perfect for your maids to carry

and perhaps you want a more traditional style bouquet?
A shower design using calla, roses, eustoma and agapanthus.

A beautiful bouquet for a gold themed wedding.

Or if you prefer your colours a little brighter

All white weddings can look stunning against the darker days. The gorgeous bloom incurved chrysants are surrounded by lots of small headed roses and then with a collar of feathers.

Too white? Roses with Rosemary, cones and teasels, keeping the colour white but adding in seasonal flavour.

Or for a late summer/autumn wedding go bright and bold with the lovely sunflower.

I hope these have inspired your flower choices and what you may like to carry down the aisle.
There are many many more choices and flowers so to talk through your options please get in touch with your wedding date and book a consultation today.

Fill in the form here and let me know a convenient day and time and I will get back to you.

Wedding reception flowers at The Venue Navenby

The wonderful reception of S&R's wedding was held in the lovely The Venue at Navenby. A place we hadn't set up at before but it is a lovely light space that can be dressed to suit your style. Roger who was our contact, was full of ideas that could be used to personalise the space. If you are looking for a venue that is large, seats up to 175, more than most Lincoln venues, and has great space outside, especially if lots of children are attending, then do check it out.

To the flowers;
We were honoured to take this wedding on, a superb colour mix and from previous posts here and here, excellent flowers and designs.
The bride knew more or less what she wanted and it was up to us to create these designs.
The top table wanted to be a long and low, without trailing but a country mix of flowers and foliage to suit the bouquets.

At either end we placed a small candelabra on a mirror.
We also placed bay trees around the venue and the two pedestals from the church were being brought up to stand behind the table.

The lovely top table display

Our bay trees with the other wonderful decorations which are by Emma Louise at Elegant Touches, always a pleasure to work alongside this lady.

Our small candelabras adorned the guest tables, again in ivory, yellow and purple with lots of herbs and scented foliage. When the candles are lit and the room is warm these really will fill the air with sweet scent.

Mirrors and candelabras can be hired with or without flowers.

The room is a large space waiting to be filled with your designs and ideas.

Bay trees and candelabras to enhance your guests enjoyment of your wedding day.

All displays are set up for you on the wedding morning and all hired items are dismantled and collected the following day, in conjunction with the venue staff. All included within any quote given. Saving you or your guests hassle in getting items back to us.

If you are holding your wedding reception (or any event) here please do get in touch to ask us how you could style the space.
If you love the designs and are getting wed elsewhere, ask us for a quote to deliver and set up your requirements.
