I have quite simply loved working with Oliver and Kirstie on the plans for their wedding flowers, I have without exception thoroughly enjoyed every single meeting we've had, they are the most gorgeous little family and it has been an absolute honour and privilege to create their wedding flowers, I was hugely jealous of Jason on Saturday when he got to go to mystical and magical Samlesbury Hall to do their wedding.
~
Our journey with these lovely folks started way back in January when we made plans for them to create this stunning mood board, they provided us with a plethora of great information and images, we arranged to see them both again in July to present a set of sample designs for their perusal.
I'd made Kirstie a lovely Bridal Bouquet in a natural and relaxed style, incorporating lots of fragrant herbs, dancing grasses, seasonal seed heads and berries and some luscious fresh Roses, Astilbe, Daisies, Astrantia and Eryngium
We'd made a sample Boutonniere of seasonal materials including Blackberries and Eryngium Thistles
A sample suggestion for a table centrepiece
Ideas for the Top Table...
A Tall table design idea, Oliver & Kirstie made some decisions and then we all just had to wait patiently for their wedding day to arrive...
On the big day Jason was in Oswaldtwistle bright and early to present our beautiful Bride with her wedding bouquet
He then headed over to the wonderful and magical surroundings of Samlesbury Hall to set the scene for the wedding ceremony
Two of our Enchanted Trees framed the ceremony space beautifully
Collections of bottles and jars dressed the Registrars table leaving space for Kirstie to place her wedding bouquet in the middle of the table
Jason lined up all of the Boutonnieres and corsages ready to pin them on to our Bride Groom Oliver and his Groom's Men and family
Oliver was first to have his super special Boutonniere of autumnal materials
The Bride Groom's Autumn Boutonniere
Jason pinned on all of the Boutonnieres ensuring each one was positioned perfectly
The super glam Groom's Mum Ruth complete with her rather special corsage
The Groom's Mum's Corsage of Rolled Rose Petals and Bubble Rose buds with Pinkalina and Hydrangeas
Our fabulous Bride arrived in vintage style with Magnolia Classics providing the cars
Kirstie looked breathtakingly beautiful when she arrived with her super duper proud Dad
The Bridesmaids looked wonderful in their cobalt blue gowns
Completely adorable... the very gorgeous Violet xxxx
