Claire & Mike had big plans for their gorgeous Bartle Hall Wedding day, it's true to say we do love working at this fabulous Lancashire wedding venue, it's also true to say we work there a lot, but one of the things that makes us love it so much, is just how diverse peoples ideas are for decoration, we have never done two wedding the same at Bartle Hall, each one is completely unique, like the couples themselves.
So when we first saw Claire and Mike's Mood Board we were super excited about their hopes and dreams for their big day. Lots of colour pinks and purples were the order of the day, a plethora of important details, buttons and bows, bunting and lace all featured, we had great fun preparing their sample designs
The Bride Groom's Boutonniere suggestion featured a Darcey Rose from David Austin Roses and was finished with buttons and bows
One of our smaller Regency Candelabras was decided upon, a collection of Roses, Brassicas and classic Hydrangeas were used to dress the candelabras
Hurricane Lanterns on stacked crates with posies of fresh flowers in coloured glass were arranged as a suggestion for the ceremony
A series of coloured glass vessels set on logs dressed with seasonal fir cones and Succulents an idea for the top table
Our wooden crates filled with fresh flowers
Mason jars filled with fresh flowers
At last the big day arrived and the Bride Groom's Boutonniere along with the Mum's corsages were lined up ready to pin on their respective owners
Mike the super lovely Bride Groom was first to have his boutonniere pinned to his lapel
The Mum's corsages matched their outfits perfectly
In the Windsor Suite the scene was set for the ceremony with two of our Regency Candelabras on pedestals just behind the Registrars atbel
Stacks of Crates dressed with posies and candlelit lanterns flanked the Registrars table
The Fireplaces too were decorated with posies of fresh flowers and candlelit lanterns
We loved all of the details
Our lovely Bride Claire with her super proud Dad, Claire was carrying a bouquet of buttons a friend had made for her.
Huge Congratulations to Claire and Mike from all of the team here at Flower Design Events
The celebrations moved into the Balmoral Suite where a combination of high and low table designs decorated the dining table beautifully
Our Regency Candelabras (These are the same candelabras that Bartle Hall use as part of their packages, when we dress them we use larger candles to balance the fresh flowers)
Some of the tables were dressed with a candlelit Hurricane Lamp set on a log surrounded by posies of fresh flowers in coloured glass bottles, autumn leaves, and fir cones
Our Regency Candelabras were set on tree slices and surrounded tea light votives, Autumn Leaves and Fir Cones
Crates of fresh flowers, Succulents, Moss Balls and Fir Cones decorated other tables, the mixture of designs made the room look interesting and textured.
A collection of posies in coloured glass set on a tree stump with Succulents and tea light votives
The Top Table was a riot of colour and texture, with lots of personal details included too
Thank you bouquets for the speeches were placed just behind the top table
Our work here was done, many thanks to Claire & Mike for choosing Flower Design Events to create their wedding flowers for them xxx
